Bill explains how the world works to stupid, selfish, liberal Dennis

(satire) Obviously. But perhaps not, so there.

Transcript of Bill O’Reilly interviewing Dennis Kucinich here.

KUCINICH: You know, first of all, the American eagle needs two wings to fly. Don’t forget that. And, secondly, what I stand for is mainstream: health care for all, jobs for all, employment security. That’s what all Americans want.

O’REILLY: Yes, they want it, but you can’t — the only way to get all that is by implementing a socialistic system. And that’s what they don’t want, so that’s the…

If you want a secure job and health care, you’re a socialist. Actually, it’s probably ok to want these things for yourself, but if you start wanting it for other people, you’re a socialist. We’re pretty smart here in America, but socialism is the only way to give Americans secure jobs and health care. There’s just no other way to solve the conundrum, so pick one. See, we can’t have socialism, so we can’t solve these problems. Suck it up. Now, if you were a good, cut-throat red-blooded American like Bill O’Reilly, you’d be satisfied getting your own needs filled. Why do you have to such an asshole and care about what other people need? That’s your problem, you know.

KUCINICH: You know what, though? But in a country where the wealth is accelerating to the top because of our tax system, because of our health care system, because of our energy policies, I think the American people in this election are going to want to recognize we need to go in a new direction.

O’REILLY: It’s going to be — it’s going to be interesting, because most Americans don’t like socialism and they admire achievement. And they understand that guys like me pay an enormous amount of tax, enormous. Now, I don’t mind paying it, but if you’re going to take 50 percent, 60 percent, I’ll retire. You don’t want that.

A new direction means socialism, and we can’t have that. Bill already explained that. What are you, dense? Now, it’s important to remember that Bill is very very very selfless and doesn’t mind paying ‘enormous’ amounts of tax. Just enormous. But if we put any more weight on his sturdy, selfless shoulders, he. will. retire. Obviously, we don’t want that to happen. That would be a national tragedy, so suck it up. Stop thinking about yourself all the time, and start thinking about the sacrifices that people like Bill O’Reilly make for this country. This is your problem, you know? You never think of the poor rich people in America.

KUCINICH: Do you know that 1 out of every 3 health care dollars goes for the activities of the for-profit system, corporate profits, stock options, executive salary, advertising, marketing?

O’REILLY: That’s the free market place. You can’t control it.

Allright?? You cannot control the free market place. You just can’t do it. Does the sun rise in the east every morning? Eggsactly. And you cannot control the free market place. If you tried to exert any control over the free market place, that would be socialism, and as Bill has already explained like five times, we can’t have socialism in America. Why can’t you get this through your thick head?

O’REILLY: I like the fact that there should be a safety net for health care. I don’t want anybody to be out on the street.

KUCINICH: Bill, 50 million people are without health care.

O’REILLY: We can’t afford it.

We can’t control the free market place, and that’s why we can’t afford health care for all. What’s the matter with you, are you stupid? This is really straightforward. The money that would make health care affordable for another 50 million people has to go to corporate profits and CEO salaries. That’s the free market place, which you cannot control without killing America. It’s the price these people pay to live in a free market place kind of country. If you weren’t so selfish you’d recognize this and happily sacrifice your health for the USA.

KUCINICH: The truth is we shouldn’t have gone into Iraq.

O’REILLY: OK, but Iraq’s a different thing. We won that. We won that.

KUCINICH: Where’s the soft approach?

O’REILLY: You don’t want to confront Putin militarily in Georgia; you don’t want to confront Iran militarily. You don’t want to do all of that.

KUCINICH: Bill, why have a war if you don’t need it?

See, we won in Iraq. Already won that war. If you weren’t such a pussy, you’d see that we should go right over there and smash up the Russians and nuke Iran. War is good for America. People love war. It’s a blast. There’s nothing to worry about. We’ll kick their asses.

O’REILLY: Because the reason Bush did that was because he knew down the road Putin would invade somebody, which he has.

KUCINICH: No, excuse me. Georgia invaded South Ossetia.

O’REILLY: OK. All right, you know I love you. It’s great to have you on here. All right, I’m just wondering whether Obama loves you as much as I do.

Georgia invaded South Ossetia….this guy is such a ham…OK this interview is over. Cut. CUT! Love you, baby. You liberals are soft as shit, but we love you man. Love having you on the show.

Unconfirmed Unicorn Sighting

An article from ynet, posted here, informs us that Moscow has been working to convene a multi-party Mideast peace conference in November. Hmm. That’s funny, because without Israel, it’s a worthless endeavor. But if Russia should succeed in hosting a successful Mideast peace conference, well… wouldn’t that change everything? Kind of like a 9/11 in reverse. The Arab World would love to break out of the current stalemate. If Russia can get Israel to cooperate, well, Condi could forget about ever collecting her Nobel Peace Prize.

A fantasy, you say? Hold on. Brother Nathanael discusses the relationship between Russia and Israel, referencing a Haaretz piece bemoaning how this Georgian debacle played out.

Israel has a long, unfortunate history of supporting failing, problematic regimes, from Idi Amin in Uganda to Augusto Pinochet in Chile, including the generals in Argentina and the Phalanges in Lebanon. The establishment repeatedly has been enticed to believe Israel can be a regional power, and has paid a painful price every time. Now, we may be able to thank Putin for quickly showing Israel the limits of its power and influence, and letting it escape with minimal damages.

Oh dear. Is Israel about to add GWB in USA to the long list of ‘failing, problematic regimes’ it has tried to ’support’? Is it time to dump the poor old USA, now that it’s all used up? Would it be much better to play nice with Russia, especially now that Israel has all the military toys (courtesy of US taxpayers) that it needs? Maybe they’ll break up with us before we break up with them, especially since we never would and they know it, having bought and paid for every politician in the US government.

Hey, it could happen. For a great take on it, read this:

First off, if you’re an English speaker, every story proffered on the Russia-Georgia conflict is 100-proof propaganda. Next, the most important story you haven’t heard is that Israel is betting against US success vs. Russia. Paradoxically, and despite Israel’s typically overweening, convoluted conceits, this is very heartening, since it means they think the US won’t go to the mat and start launching its nuclear arsenal. Apparently, they also believe the Russians can handle US Navy, Air Force, and Army units going into Project Georgia in the names of “humanitarian aid” and “peacekeeping.” Israel understandably wants the output of the BP-sponsored Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan whoever controls it, yet until now they’ve been neck-deep in arming and training the Georgian military. How deep? Georgia’s minister of defense, for example, is a citizen of Israel.

Still, it’s tough to be sanguine, or resist going into seizures or duck-n-cover positions. The Bush Administration is about as dangerous as a badger on crystal meth, and as we’ve repeatedly seen, they’re so dumb they can screw up a soda straw.

Can you imagine the maniacal spinning and spontaneous imploding if Our Best Friend EVAH!!, Israel, dumped us for Russia after we’ve run our entire frikkin country plus a couple extras into the ground on their account? That sure would be something to see.

And for his next trick, George will get us all %$*& killed

Since the stupid fiasco in Georgia, the following events have transpired:

Russia has cancelled all military cooperation with NATO.

Around 10 joint military exercises were planned involving Russian and NATO members through the end of this year. They will probably all be cancelled.

Russia and Syria have renewed their former ties.

The Russian aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov” is ready to head from Murmansk towards the Mediterranean and the Syrian port of Tartus. The mission comes after Syrian President Bashar Assad said he is open for a Russian base in the area. The “Admiral Kuznetsov”, part of the Northern Fleet and Russia’s only aircraft carrier, will head a Navy mission to the area. The mission will also include the missile cruiser “Moskva” and several submarines, Newsru.com reports. President Assad in meetings in Moscow this week expressed support to Russia’s intervention in South Ossetia and Georgia. He also expressed interest in the establishment of Russian missile air defence facilities on his land.

And Israel, ever paranoid, is feeling real, actual heat from their stupidity since Russia enjoys close ties with Israel’s neighbors/enemies.

“I think that everyone in Russia and in the world is now aware of Israel’s role and its military consultants in the Georgian crisis,” said President al-Assad, who will meet his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, on Thursday. Such deals would irk Washington and Tel Aviv, which have long asked Moscow not to sell weapons to countries that share borders with the occupied territories.

Reports, however, indicate that Russia is eager to revive its defense ties with Syria following the South Ossetian conflict, in which Georgia used Israeli-supplied equipment. An Israeli website reported that Moscow plans to deploy advanced missile systems - including the S-300 air-missile defense system as well as the nuclear-capable Iskander missiles - in Syria in the near future. A Russian official was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying that a number of deals involving anti-aircraft and anti-tank missile systems are being prepared by Russia and Syria. “Damascus is Moscow’s long-standing partner in military cooperation and we are expecting to reach an agreement in principle on new weapons deals,” said the source. The official added that the Syrians are interested in acquiring Russia’s Pantsyr-S1 Air Defense Missile systems, BUK-M1 surface-to-air medium-range missile system, military aircraft, and other hardware.

Russia has condemned both Israel and the US for their role in arming the Georgian military with sophisticated weapons. Israel claims it has not directly equipped or trained the Georgian military, and private Israeli firms - with the defense ministry’s approval- are responsible for such dealings.

So now, dear friends — and I know this will shock you — Israel’s security will be threatened by the very idiotic actions prompted by Israel and the Israeli-controlled US government through their puppet Saakashvili. Israel, populated by the most insecure people on earth, who paradoxically consider themselves more precious than others and yet cling and grasp and lie and murder so much that the world cannot help but recoil in horror at the gaping void where a human soul would otherwise repose, will now be retro-fitted with whatever the US military has to offer at American taxpayer expense, of course.

It’s as if no matter what happens, Israel will be taken care of. Should this little Georgian sortie have worked, they would have been happy. But since it didn’t work, they still get to play their poor threatened victim card to extort more from Americans.

And now, wasting no time whatsoever on the next stupid idea, Olmert is talking about another war with Lebanon and warning Israelis to expect direct hits on their own cities.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warned on Tuesday that the next war with Lebanon would involve attacks on Israel’s cities, and threatened that the Jewish state would hit back “harder than before.”

In 2006 Hizbullah fired almost 4,000 rockets at northern Israel during a monthlong war, reaching cities as far south as Haifa and Tiberias.

Olmert warned that now that Hizbullah is the “dominant” force in Lebanon, Israel will hit back “harder than before.” Olmert added that the Jewish state did not use all means to respond in 2006, but “if Lebanon becomes a Hizbullah state, then we won’t have any restrictions in this regard.”

The next war with Lebanon. Planning ahead, are we? Well, it should be no surprise. After all, American Goy has the whole lowdown on how this premeditated Georgian clusterfuck came to be. These people — the Bush Administration and the Israeli government — are criminals. They belong in prison for mass murder. If they are not stopped, they will just keep killing. It’s what they do for a living, and Americans and Israelis are not excepted from state-sanctioned murder no matter how ‘patriotic’ they are or whatever the hell imaginary quality people seem to think protects them.

Alarm bells going off everywhere

I have been collecting and posting news over at the After Armageddon news page, and at this point there are so many stories about Georgia that it’s becoming near impossible to process everything. By most accounts, this appears to be an act of hubris, arrogance, stupidity and evil that can only be ascribed to the idiots who brought us the last eight years of misery. So in lieu of adding my own useless analysis to the equation, I just encourage all of you to be prepared for things to get much worse very quickly and pray for the best.

Let the buyer (of war) beware

Did you know that US troops are being electrocuted regularly and shower and drink totally contaminated water in Iraq?

Not to mention, of course, the Depleted Uranium.

That is not to mention, of course, the untold destruction and suffering of the Iraqi, Afghanistani, and Palestinian people.

Only God knows all the sorrows, the suffering and tears of every human being, each one created in his image, who have paid the price of our military adventures and our support of Israel. Most of us cannot even begin to imagine it, and worse, we don’t want to be able to imagine it. But our cowardice does not really make the suffering disappear. God still knows about each life on earth, and how it lives, and how it dies, and who is responsible for its joys and miseries.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

New Game Show: How Stupid is Attacking Iran?

Today our contestant is Scott Ritter. Unlike the frightening Lord Stirling, who predicted all-out nuclear war and horrific bio-weapons attacks throughout the world, Scott is going to keep it to things we can all easily imagine. Let’s just say this is the ‘best-case scenario.’ Nothing too scary for the kids watching at home.

Scott, what will happen if the US tries to secure the Strait of Hormuz?

The moment the United States makes a move to secure the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will unleash a massive bombardment of the military and industrial facilities of the United States and its allies, including the oil fields in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. American military bases in Iraq and Kuwait, large—fixed and well known— would be smothered by rockets and missiles carrying deadly cluster bombs. The damage done would run into the hundreds of millions, if not into billions, of dollars, and hundreds, if not thousands, of U.S. military personnel would be killed and wounded.

Oooh, that sounds really bad. But don’t we have an amazing Navy that can secure the Strait?

There is virtually no chance the U.S. Navy would be able to prevent Iran from interfering with shipping through the strait. There is every chance the Navy would take significant casualties, in both ships lost and personnel killed or wounded, as it struggled to secure the strait. There would be a need for a significant commitment of ground forces to guarantee safe passage for all shipping, civilian and military alike. The longer ground forces could operate on Iranian soil, the better the chances Iranian missiles would not be able to effectively interdict shipping. Conversely, the longer ground forces operated on Iranian soil, the greater likelihood there would be of decisive ground engagement. With U.S. air power expected to be fully committed to the missile interdiction mission, any large-scale ground engagement would create a situation in which air power would have to be redirected into tactical support, and away from missile interdiction, creating a window of vulnerability which the Iranians would very likely exploit.

Wow. This sound really dangerous. It seems like we could lose an awful lot of military people in this endeavor. I don’t think the American people realize that. Well, what if our ‘good friends’ the Israelis attacked Iran? Wouldn’t that restrict the conflict somewhat?

Iran has promised to strike targets in Israel as well, especially if Israel is a participant in any military action. Such Israeli involvement is highly unlikely, since to do so in any meaningful fashion Israel would need to fly in Iraqi air space, a violation of sovereignty the Iraqi government will never tolerate. The anti-American backlash that would be generated in Iraq would be immediate and severe. In short, virtually every operation involving the training of Iraqi forces would be terminated as the U.S. military trainers would need to be withdrawn to the safety of the fortified U.S. bases to protect them from attack. U.S. civilian contractors would likewise need to be either withdrawn completely from Iraq or restricted to the fortified bases. All gains alleged to have been made in the “surge” would be wiped away instantly. Worse, the Iraqi countryside would become a seething mass of anti-American activity, which would require a huge effort to reverse, if it ever could be. Iraq as we now know it would be lost, and what would emerge in its stead would not only be unsympathetic to the United States but actually a breeding ground for anti-American action that could very well expand beyond the boundaries of Iraq and the Middle East.

Well, that would make a mockery of all the sacrifices made in Iraq to date.

Hmm. We seem to be a little boxed in here.

Well what about the economy? Don’t we need to protect our oil-supply from those dangerous Iranians?

Neither the Israeli nor the American (and for that reason, European and Asian) economy would emerge intact from a U.S. attack on Iran. Oil would almost instantly break the $300-per-barrel mark, and because the resulting conflict would more than likely be longer and more violent that most are predicting, there is a good chance oil would top $500 or even more within days or weeks. Hyperinflation would almost certainly strike every market-based economy, and the markets themselves would collapse under the strain.

I see. So you’re saying that this isn’t going to be a cake-walk, and thousands of US service-people would be killed, and the world economy would collapse, and everything gained in Iraq would be irretrievably lost? Is that correct?

How can you be so sure? Maybe you are overstating the case. Perhaps the Iranians are just bluffing, and they want everyone to be afraid of them, but they don’t actually have the capacity to withstand the awesome military might of the USA.

The decision by Iran to show its hand on how it would respond to any American aggression has cleared the air, so to speak, about what is actually being discussed when one speaks of military action against Iran. In many ways, the Iranian missile tests have made it less likely that there will be a war with Iran, simply because the stakes of any such action are so plainly obvious to all parties involved.

But…but…but….what about Israel?!?! Don’t you care what Israel wants??!!??

The reality is that Iran’s nuclear program is here to stay. Iran has every right under international law to pursue this program, and regional and global tensions would be greatly reduced (along with the price of oil) if American policies, and in related fashion U.N. Security Council mandates, were adjusted accordingly. Israeli paranoia—derived not so much from any genuine Iranian threat but rather an affront to Israeli nuclear hegemony in the Middle East—must in turn be subdued. This can be done through a mixture of international pressure designed to punish Israel diplomatically and economically for any failure to adhere to international norms when it comes to peaceful coexistence with its neighbors, and international assurances that Israel’s sovereignty and viability as a nation-state will forever be respected and defended.

But Israel is SPECIAL, Scott!! Everybody knows that. They shouldn’t have to adhere to any rules that they don’t like, such as peacefully coexisting with their neighbors. That’s why Americans must worry about all of this business with Iran — so Israel can strut around the Middle East all day long flipping the bird to their Arab neighbors and chanting “We have nukes and you don’t, neener neener neener!”

Of course, there can be no meaningful international pressure brought to bear on Israel without American participation, and herein lies the crux of the problem. Until the U.S. Congress segregates legitimate national security concerns from narrow Israeli-only issues, the pro-Israel lobby will have considerable control over American national security policy. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s continued push for congressional action concerning the implementation of what is tantamount to a naval blockade of Iran (and as such, an act of war) by pushing House Resolution 362 and Senate Resolution 580 is mind-boggling given the reality of the situation. Congress must stop talking blockade, and start discussing stability and confidence-building measures.

WHAT?!? Scott, you are just no fun. You are such a….what’s the word….ADULT! Who wants to play this stupid game anyway. It’s a stupid game. Let’s get out of here. (screen door slams, hitting them on the ass…)

The Scariest Scenario Yet

If you haven’t seen this yet, I’m sorry but it’s gonna ruin your day.

Perhaps if enough Americans see things like this and begin to comprehend that people like me are not, and I quote, “paranoid delusionists,” then just maybe enough of us will find a spine and prevent the ruin of the world.

Aren’t we smug? We think we can launch wars at will against “shitty little countries.” We think we can “crush them like ants” and nothing will ever happen to us except for losing a few of our army guys, and that is tragedy enough.

It never ceases to amaze me how blithely Americans talk about killing other people. But then again, Americans and Israelis are apparently the most racist people on earth. If a bunch of other people get killed, well that’s one thing. But when we start dying, well oh ho HO… that’s another thing entirely. That’s different.

Except it’s not different. Other people in other places don’t consider themselves less human than us, less worthy to live. They really don’t. They will fight back.

The best thing that could happen now is for the world economy to totally collapse and take the winds out of the Warship’s sails once and for all. At least that disaster wouldn’t cause thousands of years of radioactive contamination and biological warfare. And start praying.

In full, my emphasis:

War on Iran: The Perfect Storm from Hell - by Lord Stirling

As the global bankers’ plan to bring down the American and world’s economy continues (so that they can acquire as much of our wealth as possible at ‘fire sale’ prices ~ an old strategy), the world is facing another much worse danger. A regional war in the Middle East that will involve global strategic weapons of mass destruction with deaths in the hundreds of millions in North America, Europe, the Middle East and globally.

I have served as a consultant to three very high tech aerospace firms. My specialty is conceptualizing advanced warfare especially as it relates to new cutting edge advanced weapon systems. What I see unfolding with a war on Iran is the most frightening set of circumstances I have ever seen; and I have been involved in advanced theoretical weaponry strategy and design for over 20 years.

The rise of the Likud/neo-cons, with Benjamin Netanyahu as the unholy high priest, has been a disaster for Israel, America, the Middle East, and the world at large. The smartest thing that Israel ever did was to use American money to buy off Jordan and Egypt and make peace with them. The dumbest thing was to empower the Likud Party hardliners centered on Bibi Netanyahu and the Bush/Cheney Administration (with supporting roles played by Sharon, and neo-con leaders in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and elsewhere). Four years ago Israel was no where near a MAD (mutually assured destruction) environment. Today it has a very dangerous four-front MAD environment and it was unable, in the Second Lebanon War of two years ago, to overturn the dangers surrounding it, in fact the level of MAD danger has increased considerably since the summer of 2006.

The war party in Israel and America has facilitated the rise of a regional (Iran/Syria/Lebanon/Palestine) MAD. I truly believe that the Likud/neo-con strategy is a total failure. The stated goal of the strategy is to break-up and weaken several Middle Eastern states that pose, or could pose, a strategic risk to Israel. To this end Saddam was encouraged to attack Kuwait resulting in the First Gulf War. When he was able to demonstrate, even in the face of intense allied air attacks, his ability to “deliver ordinance on target” using his Scud missiles the United States (and allies) decided not to drive all the way to Bagdad. We knew that he was holding back “the heavy stuff” and only using “dumb” high explosive warheads; not the chemical, biological and radiological warheads that could have caused massive damage to Israel and to the Saudi oilfields. Saddam Hussein’s military had prepared what it called the “great equalizer”, an arsenal of 25 Scud warheads carrying over 11,000lb of biological agents, including deadly botulism poison and anthrax germs (an additional 33,000lb of germ agents were placed in artillery shells and bombs). It was only after he was forced into denuding himself of his advanced weaponry that the neo-cons were able to begin the Second Gulf War.

After Iran, the Likud/neo-con war strategy calls for the neutralizing of Iran and Syria. The Iranians response was to train and equip Hezbollah in Lebanon and to deepen their strategic alliance with Syria.

During the 2006 Second Lebanon War, the Iranian trained and equipped Hezbollah forces repeated the efforts of Saddam during the First Gulf War. They delivered a very large number of rockets with “dumb” high explosive warheads on Israel. The Hezbollah Special Forces are in-effect a highly trained and well-equipped Iranian commando force of at least a Brigade in size. They man and protect a large number of mostly unguided and rather crude rockets, generally Katyusha 122mm artillery rockets with a 19 mile/30km range and capable of delivering approximately 66 pounds/30kg of warheads. Additionally, Hezbollah are known to possess a considerable number of more advanced and longer range missiles. During the 2006 war Hezbollah fired approximately 4,000 rockets (95% of which were Katyshas) all utilizing only “dumb” high explosive warheads. Some Iranian build and supplied Fajr-3 and Ra’ad 1 liquid-fueled missiles were also fired. At the time of the 2006 war Hezbollah was reported to have in the range of 13,000 rockets. There are creditable reports that this number has been rebuilt and expanded upon since the end of that war and that the number of rockets is now at least 20,000 and perhaps 30,000 or more.

During the 2006 war the world watched as Israeli towns were hit time and time again by the Katyushas. What was not discussed by the main stream news media was the fact that the ordinance delivered by the Katyushas was mainly harassment fire with very limited effect. The Iranian/Syrian trained and supplied Hezhollah commandos were holding back their “heavy stuff” both in terms of their longer range guided missiles capable of hitting southern Israel and most importantly warheads of strategic military importance. That is NBC (nuclear [in this case radiological] chemical and biological) and advanced-conventional warheads. They were demonstrating their ability to deliver “ordinance on target” and their ability to survive a heavy Israeli ground and air combined arms attack.

Hezbollah has the capability of loading truly strategic warheads on the large number of mostly crude older technology unguided rockets that it has. The use of advanced-conventional fuel-air explosive (FAE) warheads on the Katyushas would have had a much more profound effect in Israeli cities. The use of FAE submunitions on the larger missiles capable of hitting any target in Israel would have given Hezbollah the firepower of low-yield nuclear weapons without crossing the nuclear threshold. Coupled with the large number of missiles in Syria and those in Iran, the Hezbollah rockets posed, and continue to pose, a truly grave strategic threat to Israel if FAE warheads are used. This threat is dramatically increased if radiological (”dirty bombs”), chemical, and/or biological warheads are used.

The massive number of Hezbollah rockets could also be outfitted with chemical warheads. It is worth noting that the joint Syrian-Iranian chemical warfare R&D and production program is perhaps the largest and most complicated on earth. Generally the Israelis have shown themselves to be prepared for chemical warfare, however a chemical war attack following closely behind a FAE attack (to open up bunkers and apartment buildings) would have greater effect. While it is not necessary to utilize a rocket to deliver a biological war attack, it could be done and there is some benefit militarily to a rapid dispersal of biowar agents under the cover of conventional attacks. Radiological weapons deliver the long term (which can be hundreds of thousands of years) lethal effects of radiation without the blast effect of a nuclear bomb.

The combined military strategic capability of NBC/Advanced Conventional warheads and very large numbers of rockets operated and protected by Hezbollah, coupled with the arsenal of Syria and Iran (and Hamas) acts as a MAD (mutually assured destruction) between Israel and Iran/Syria. Yes the Israelis can nuke the hell out of both Iran and Syria; however, they possess a fatal return punch.

The response from the Israeli and neo-con hardliners to the new MAD strategic environment has been frightening. Instead of recognizing the danger to Israel and to the entire world from the Iranian/Syrian “checkmate” on the aggressive Israeli/neo-con strategy, and making major changes to their strategy, they are attempting to “tough it out”. The issue of “danger from the Iranian nuclear program” is a smokescreen to facilitate the coming war on Iran and her allies (Syria, Hezbollah, and Hamas) and to continue with the next stage of the neo-con strategy. The response from the hardliners is more war and damn their WMD (weapons of mass destruction). This is most unwise and most dangerous to the entire world.

When the USSR was falling apart, and in the aftermath of the USSR breakup, Iran spend a lot of money to hire some of the best Soviet biological war experts. The advanced biowar weapons that Iran has developed gives Iran a Global Strategic Weapon of Mass Destruction that can unleash levels of death among the populations of the major neo-con nations (USA, UK, France, German, Italy, etc.) very similar to that from a global strategic nuclear strike. This means that Iran and her allies have a MAD with America, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, German, Italy, etc.

Most people think of biological warfare as anthrax and smallpox; they do not understand that there has been a major shift in technology. The difference between the old biowar (that most people think of) and advanced biowar (with its recombination DNA designer super killer viruses) is like the difference between an old Model T Ford and a 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom. Both are cars, or biological weapons, but there is a difference of several orders of magnitude.

Regardless of how a war against Iran breaks out, it is likely to very quickly escalate to the usage of WMD. There has been talk among USAF war planners of a 1,200 (some say 2,000 to 3,000 or more) target attack on Iran’s nuclear, industrial, military, political and religious infrastructure. If a foreign enemy were to bomb 1,200 or more targets in the United States what would be the response of the American government and it’s military? Actually the answer to this question is well known. The stated doctrine of the United States of America is to rain hundreds of hydrogen bombs (WMD) on the territory and people of such an aggressor; this has been our policy for approximately 60 years. Why do we presuppose that the Iranians would not do the same?

If Iran is hit by either an Israeli and/or an American air attack, it is certain that Iran will respond. This response, even if is non-WMD at first, will certainly result in more escalation and counter-escalation. The chances of a regional Middle East war between Iran/Syria/Hezbollah/Hamas and Israel/USA not becoming a nuclear and advanced biological war nightmare are very low. In fact, since both sides know this, there is a strong military incentive to move to all out usage of WMD when the first bombs begin to fall (in order to utilize more of one’s weaponry before its destruction).

The end result will be a third or so of Israelis dead and large parts of the Israeli nation poisoned for hundreds of thousands of years by radiological warheads. Syria, Iran, and large parts of Lebanon and Palestine will cease to exists and will be little more than a green radioactive debris field poisonous to all forms of life higher than a cockroach for hundreds of thousands of years (longer than modern man has existed). The Iranian oilfields and most likely the oilfields of a large part of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other areas of the Middle East are also apt to be so poisoned by Iranian radiological warheads or Israeli/American nuclear fallout.

The world will suffer its most complete economic collapse in history. All of this will take less than one week.

At about two weeks, after the beginning of the war on Iran, emergency rooms and doctors offices will begin to see a sudden spike in a number of new diseases with numerous very ill people being admitted to hospitals in North America, and Western Europe and what is left of Israel. By that time the Iranian and Syrian states will have effectively ceased to exist with insufficient manpower and organization to even bury their dead.

The many new genetically engineered viruses causing the strange diseases showing up will have been spread by sleeper agents supplied with a number of new viruses and distributed in public places (movie theaters, shopping malls, churches, etc.) quietly without anyone knowing. Humans themselves will become the vectors of the diseases/biowar agents. Although the Bush Administration has spent $40 billion on biowar defense in the last couple of years, there is little that can realistically be done against a global strategic advanced biowar attack. The tactic of necessity will be to lock down everyone, with only key persons being allowed to leave their homes, in order to let the multiple genetically engineered diseases burn themselves out (a nice way of saying letting everyone who has the illnesses die off).

Expect to see dear old Bibi Netanyahu as ‘head’ of what is left of Israel. Expect to see sub dermal RFID chips implanted under the skin of the population left in the major neo-con states to “prove your disease free status” and necessary to buy, sell, or work. Expect to see military checkpoints everywhere and total control by the neo-con national governments over all aspects of life. Expect to see concentration camps for persons suspected of disloyalty to the state (this will include many viewers of sites like this one). Expect to see levels of death, fear, repression that are almost incomprehensible.

Expect to see the various biological warfare diseases spread throughout the world, even with a total shutdown of international travel. Millions will die in Russia and China. Expect to see those national governments not controlled by the neo-con masters to go ape shit when their populations face the nightmare of advanced biowar. Expect the regional war in the Middle East to trigger an all out global battle utilizing all forms of weapons of mass destruction within a few months of the initial attacks on Iran.

Stirling

Update 6 July 2008: A article in the Sunday Times (London, England) supports what I am saying about Iran and its biowar program. Name of article is “Germ warfare fear ovr african monkeys taken to Iran”.

The moral depravity of the Iraq war

Watch this video. About seven or eight minutes in you can see bound detainees being forced off the top of a three story building. It appears that American soldiers are doing this, though you can’t see them clearly from the video. People in military uniforms come and whisk away the detainees after they fall.

It would be nice to think that American soldiers are all wonderful, brave people who would never stoop to such depravity, but that is what we call a “fantasy.” Given the many other sickening things that have broken through the media firewall (soldiers tossing puppies over cliffs, tormenting Iraqi children, testimonies of war crimes at Winter Soldier hearings, Haditha, drop weapons, etc.), it would be totally irresponsible and cowardly for any American to dismiss these actions as impossible. There it is on video. Somebody is doing it. Does that mean that everyone in the military is sick? Of course not. But the military, as an institution, has a civilian leadership; and those people are sick. The fish rots from the head.

Besides that, the fact remains that American soldiers are systematically trained to dehumanize ‘the enemy’ in order to be able to kill them. That is the purpose of having a military, after all. So let us not get all righteous and defensive when something like this comes out. It is time for Americans to get real and face the meat-grinding, dehumanizing machinery of the US military and see what it actually it does to people — our people and other people.

We have a military to kill people so we don’t have to do it ourselves. We subcontract the dirty job to others so we don’t have to carry the psychological burden. It’s just like buying steak all shrink-wrapped — we are preserved from the trauma of killing the cow and carving up its flesh. But somebody does those things, and it’s the same with the military. They are not all over there building schools and hugging babies, you know. Well over a million people have been killed in Iraq. Who is responsible for that? Why, we are. Did our people kill every single one? No, but we started the war, so let’s not get persnickety. The possibility of innocent people dying never did bother us that much.

What happens when you take the military and put it under a mentally deranged civilian leadership? You get utter moral depravity. Institutionalized psychopathy, with weapons. If you don’t like this, then stop glorifying the military and war. But don’t deny it. Don’t deny that we are all responsible for tossing bound detainees off the tops of buildings, murdering for fun, destroying an entire country that had nothing to do with 9/11, causing the untold suffering of millions and millions of people and the gruesome destruction of our own fellow citizens. We own it all because we don’t pay attention, and we are lazy, and we let ourselves be led around like a bunch of stupid idiots. We are so incredibly stupid that we are on the verge of letting this all happen again, to Iran.

I fear we are truly lost and the moral compass has been smashed. An attack on Iran would be as unjust if not more so than what we did to Iraq. It will cause unforgivable destruction, including our own this time. For certain, and here in the ‘homeland.’ It is all lies, just like the last time.

Do you have the nagging doubts? You must listen to them. That is what’s left of your conscience. If you can see the faint thread of truth, you must follow it. Pick up the thread and follow it quickly, as quickly as you can until you find the whole thing. Go now. Go.

Police State 2008?

You don’t have to take my word for it. I’m nobody.

Paul Craig Roberts, on the other hand, has qualifications.

He has held numerous academic appointments, including the William E. Simon Chair, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Georgetown University, and Senior Research Fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He was awarded the Legion of Honor by French President Francois Mitterrand. And when you’re done watching that, please read The Coming Catastrophe? by David DeBatto, former U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent and Iraqi war veteran.

I may be shrill from time to time.

OK OK… I’m shrill every day. But this is why. Should these things come to pass, they won’t be easily undone.

Planning Ahead

Jim Lobe has some analysis of Bush’s remarks to the Knesset. Jim is now more worried than he was before that an attack on Iran might actually happen. As I wrote over at the AA News Page, we are not plumbing the minds of psychologically normal people. You have to always expand the possibilities to include the unthinkable. So yes, I would say it’s a mistake to discount the possibility that Bush would strike Iran, incredibly unwise though that may be. From Lobe (links removed, but go through to his original and read the links):

Adding to my concern was a report by a reliable source that a prominent neo-conservative close to Cheney’s office who several months ago believed there was virtually no possibility that Bush would order an attack on Iran before he left office has apparently changed his mind. This individual (whose name I can’t divulge at the source’s insistence) recently told my source that such an attack would take place between the November elections and Bush’s departure and that it would be “massive.” I subsequently heard from a knowledgeable Israeli source that he had recently heard the same scenario from two of his sources in Israel. In that connection, Todd Gitlin’s reflections on TPM Cafe about what he was hearing in Jerusalem this week seem clearly relevant. (Gitlin attended Shimon Peres’ Presidents Conference where, according to Laura Rozen’s excellent warandpiece.com, the Israeli host was seated in the front row between Bush and Freedom’s Watch funder and Netanyahu backer, casino multi-billionaire Sheldon Adelson. Her rendition of Nahum Barnea’s column for Yediot Aharanot on Adelson is another must read this week.)

Today the Jerusalem Post has another unnamed source saying that Bush and Cheney want to strike Iran before the end of their term. This news was broadcast over Israel’s Army Radio report and presumably has fanned out across Israel. The White House denies this report, so it must be true. Why, again, do the Israelis hear what Bush plans while Americans are kept in the dark? Oh yeah, we are the stepchildren.

It may just come down to whether our economic collapse happens before these guys pull the trigger or after.

Hey, happy Tuesday. Have a great day.
