who is playing with Obama?

I posted this video in October 2009:

Pretty normal huh? To maintain the exact same posture and facial expression like that? Like a robot?

To my eyes, things were looking bad for Obama in October. Well they were looking good, actually, but that seemed bad, because it wasn’t realistic. Except he didn’t seem to get that.

Mind control is real.
Ritual sacrifice is real.
Playing with your emotions is real.
Playing with Obama is real.
I think it—not seems to be, I think it will be.  It will be the signature achievement of this first term, perhaps the only term, but a signature achievement of President Obama‘s this term.  And whether one likes it or not, disagrees with it or not, it takes up the line that started with Social Security, ran through Medicare and Medicaid, which was passed more than 40 years ago, 45 years ago, and it will be put in that category. And if it passes, and if it is put into effect, I expect it will be in the first paragraph of President Obama‘s obituary, that he passed health care reform, partly because so many presidents—President Johnson was successful, but President Nixon had a run at this, just about every president with the possibility exception of Gerry Ford, has at least thought about trying something along these lines.  I don‘t mean this specific bill, but to get some kind of health care reform.

What a strange thing to say. Hey good job too bad you’ll die soon. We’ll be sure to talk it up then, however (wink wink). Just like we always do.

The longtime Democratic senator from Massachusetts died of cancer seven months ago, on Aug. 25, but his last legacy became official at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday, when Obama signed the bill. The political odyssey of health-care reform is in many ways the story of Ted Kennedy. He dedicated his career to reforming the system; his Republican replacement in the Senate, Scott Brown, threatened the passage of Obama’s bill; Democrats persevered in part because they rallied around Kennedy’s memory. (Washington Post, 3/24/10)

Now comes the message that Obama is going off the deep-end.

A recent analysis by Roger Simon of PJTV Media maintains that Obama is showing signs of mental illness. A wide variety of commentators have observed that Obama displays severe narcissism. Obama is conceited, and he is demonstrating a serious disassociation from reality. A recent case in point was Obama’s bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question about how he could justify raising taxes for ObamaCare during a recession when citizens are already overtaxed. Obama’s wildly inappropriate answer left the audience stunned and led commentator Charles Krauthammer to mockingly say, “I don’t know why you are so surprised. It’s only nine times the length of the Gettysburg address, and after all Lincoln was answering an easier question, the higher purpose of the union and the soldiers who fell in battle.”

Et cetera. He threw the baseball like a fag. He lied about his favorite team growing up. He probably didn’t even watch baseball. He says whatever he wants and doesn’t expect to reap the consequences or be forced to defend his empty assertions. He laughs at people’s misery. He believes himself larger than life. He’s petty. He suffers from delusions of grandeur. He’s disconnected from reality. He’s dangerous.

Not only that, but he has this terrible disagreement with Bibi, and my God next thing you know we could be under Sharia Law!

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today authored by France’s Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE) and recently “obtained” by the FSB shockingly quotes French President Nicolas Sarkozy as stating that President Barack Obama is “a  dangerous[ly] aliéné”, which translates into his, Obama, being a “mad lunatic”, or in the American vernacular, “insane”.
According to this report, Sarkozy was “appalled” at Obama’s “vision” of what the World should be under his “guidance” and “amazed” at the American Presidents unwillingness to listen to either “reason” or “logic”. Sarkozy’s meeting where these impressions of Obama were formed took place nearly a fortnight ago at the White House in Washington D.C., and upon his leaving he “scolded” Obama and the US for not listening closely enough to what the rest of the World has to say.
Apparently, as this report details, the animosity between Sarkozy and Obama arose out of how best the West can deal with the growing threat posed by rising Islamic fundamentalism.

Ah, yes. The Islamic problem. European fears about Muslims “appear” to be valid. Hordes of Muslims will take over.

The greatest threat to these Western Nations posed by the Muslim peoples becoming the majority of their populations lies in their likelihood of destroying the Global Banking System which according to their faith is firmly rooted in “satanic” evil and “must” be replaced by an Islamic one.

[Note: Islamic banking refers to a system of banking or banking activity that is consistent with the principles of Islamic law (Sharia) and its practical application through the development of Islamic economics. Sharia prohibits the payment or acceptance of interest fees for the lending and accepting of money respectively, (Riba, usury) for specific terms, as well as investing in businesses that provide goods or services considered contrary to its principles (Haraam, forbidden).]

Do you see this? The Muslims will destroy our BELOVED GLOBAL BANKING SYSTEM, which they mistakenly believe is “satanic,” pfft, as if, and replace it with SHARIA, which all Western people know means we will be forced to wear burqas and live in fear of beheadings.

Obama, on the other hand, doesn’t share the views of his European allies and has, instead, embarked upon a course of embracing the Muslim peoples of the World and to the shock of all has overturned the Bush era ban on the radical Swiss born Muslim Cleric Tariq Ramadan from entering the United States, last year ordered the US government bailed out General Electric Capital Corporation to became the first Western multinational to issue an Islamic bond, and this past week commanded that all of his governments security documents eliminate the words “Islamic extremism” and “jihad”.

Sarkozy in these reports further warns that by Obama’s “unrestrained” and “destabilizing”New World Order where instead of the United States securing its vital energy future through conquest and war it will now do so by appeasement to some of the most violent and radical regimes on Earth, actions an already tense Global situation is growing ever more catastrophic as America’s once stalwart allies are being cast aside in favor of a New World Order where instead of the United States securing its vital energy future through conquest and war it will now do so by appeasement to some of the most violent and radical regimes on Earth, and as we can see exampled:

[here follows a list in which Obama is blamed for everything wrong in the world...]

In Israelwhere Obama has so demoralized and demonized their once most reliable ally that Prime Minister Netanyahu has just announced he will not attend Obama’s Global Nuclear Summit because of his fears that the American President will not keep Egypt and Turkey under control thus threatening the Israelis nuclear supremacy over their Middle Eastern enemies who have sworn to destroy them.

Okay? It is ALL HIS FAULT. Everything. He is atrocious. We are all doomed because of this guy. (Plus! The NWO is a MUSLIM thing, OK? Just like organ trafficking is a CHINESE thing.)

Something Must Be Done.

what to do, what to do?

Meanwhile, team Obama goes about on national teevee spouting lies, unpacked in this piece:

Us and Them. We are the good guys, they are the bad guys. See? They don’t wanna play ball.
“We’re probably going to get another Security Council Resolution” (Gates); “The fact that Iran…(has) not responded makes our case” (Clinton); “We stretched out our hand…It was the Iranians who refused” (Clinton).
Melodramatic drivel. We saw how much the USA and its lackeys respect the UNSC, because they only use it to justify their own ends and if the UNSC says no, they press ahead anyway. Under international law, a separate resolution by the UNSC is necessary for any resort to force, and those concerned know it.
The fact that Iran has not responded is not the case, clearly. The Islamic Republic of Iran has met the USA face to face on a number of issues but reiterates that it has the right to a peaceful nuclear program. And now that the USA is so worried about Iran’s nuclear program, how come nobody speaks about Israel’s 200 warheads sitting in the Negev Desert, which (bring out the orchestra) “Israel does not confirm nor deny”. See the smaller picture.
So why is the USA not playing the same tune with Israel? Or is it that the USA is actually controlled by Israel and the epicentre of the USA’s policy-making process is in fact in Tel Aviv?
A UNSC Resolution would not stop the USA and its allies from going further
“As Secretary Gates just said, the Security Council Resolution will not in any way forestall us or the E.U. or other concerned countries from taking additional steps” (Clinton).
I rest my case. No further comment.

It seems that Obama has been designated a… what’s the word…. a scapegoat.

His administration continues to take policy direction from the zionist entity. But Obama sings from a different book. Should something go wrong, whose fault will it be? Obama’s.

But who controls Obama? Are we to believe that Obama behaves of his own free will? Really?

He’s a puppet. He does what the puppet-masters want him to do.

If you haven’t read The Genesis of Genocide, it explains what we see happening here. There’s a good reason why Obama has behaved and been described as a megalomaniacal narcissist / psychopath disconnected from reality. Because the megalomaniacal narcissists / psychopaths disconnected from reality need him to carry that burden for them. It has been strapped onto his back, and he will be sent out into the wilderness carrying these sins. We could be witnessing the preparation of a form of animal sacrifice.

One method to atone for these sins was the use of scapegoats. In each ceremony, two goats were used; one was sacrificed through being slaughtered to appease their God’s desire for sacrificial death and the other ’set free’ by being sent into the wilderness to carry their sins and guilt and blame away from the Jews and thus redeem themselves at the cost to two ‘beasts’. One bears the punishment; the other bears the blame.

Things in the Talmud which may shed some light on the matters at hand, copped from here:

  • “The Jews are human beings, but the nations of the world are not human beings but beasts. — Saba Mecia 114, 6.
  • “Jehovah created the non-Jew in human form so that the Jew would not have to be served by beasts. The non-Jew is consequently an animal in human form, and condemned to serve the Jew day and night.” -Midrasch Talpioth, p. 225-L.
  • “As soon as the King Messiah will declare himself, He will destroy Rome and make a wilderness of it. Thorns and weeds will grow in the Pope’s palace. Then He will start a merciless war on non-Jews and will overpower them. He will slay them in masses, kill their kings and lay waste the whole Roman land. He will say to the Jews: ‘I am the King Messiah for whom you have been waiting. Take the silver and gold from the goyim.’”  –Josiah 60, 6. Rabbi Abarbanel to Daniel 7, 13.
  • “All property of other nations belongs to the Jewish nation, which, consequently, is entitled to seize upon it without any scruples. An orthodox Jew is not bound to observe principles of morality towards people of other tribes. He may act contrary to morality, if profitable to himself or to Jews in general’ “–Schalchan arach. Choszen Hasisxpat 348.
  • “On the house of the goy one looks as on the fold of cattle.” — Tosefta, Erabin VZZ, 1.

teevee pimps

Oh brother. I was going to tell you about this new show offered by the same teevee station, Imedi, that ran the fake news of Russia invading Georgia… remember that? Vineyard of the Saker covered that fiasco here.

Georgia

In case you’re interested, you can read about the new show here, here, here. Evidently the people at Imedi want to sex up those uptight Georgians, so they hired a playboy bunny hostess to show them the ropes. Even MSN Lifestyle covered the news, so you *know* that Georgia must be a bunch of people desperately in need of loosening-their-morals cultural help from “The West.” So anyway, interesting as that may be, I couldn’t help but wonder, who own this station?

Well, I am not the only person to wonder.

First off, here’s an excellent analysis trying to make sense of who would decide to run the war simulation and why…

The most down-to-earth question remains: why exactly did Imedi embark upon this adventure controversial and potentially risk the survival of the media group? A citizens’ movement has already announced that it would drag the matter to court. In the fake report, the use and falsification of outrageous lyrics and existing persons of importance (Barack Obama, Eric Fournier, the French Ambassador, the leaders of Baltic states and Poland, who all called for aid to save Georgia ) would be sufficient to bring down the group in the lawsuit.

Currently, Imedi is run by a close associate of President Saakashvili, Giorgi Arveladze. However, it differs from the public channels and those that are clearly and openly allied to the power such as Rustavi 2. For a time the opposition’s main media source, owned by Badri Patarkatsishvili–personal opponent to Saakashvili–had been closed following the events of November 7, 2007. After the astonishing death of Patarkatsishvili during the presidential campaign in which he participated, the question of its ownership, with the purchase of a major part of shares by a certain Joseph Kay, whom the opposition accuses of being a government agent, has been a murky issue. In any case, Imedi has since become another voice of the party in power.

About Giorgi Arveladze: “A longtime ally and deputy of president Mikhail Saakashvili, Arveladze was a central actor in the Rose Revolution of November 2003. He was put in charge of President Saakashvili’s PR campaign of 5 January Georgian presidential election.” (wikipedia)

Supposedly Arveladze did not expect the simulation to cause such a panic. Mm hmm.

^^^^^^^

As for the mysterious Joseph Kay…

Kay *claimed* to be the cousin of the last owner of the station, who died of a “heart attack” while exiled in the UK.

The last owner of the station, Badri Patarkatsisvili, was a Jewish Georgian oligarch. He was into it all — all the typical oligarch business interests, dirty cut-throat dealings, the whole thing.

Arkady Shalovich Patarkatsishvili, was born in 1955, to a family of the Jewish Georgian intelligentsia in Tbilisi, then capital of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic. …[big snip covering his life as an oligarch - ed.]

Although Patarkatsishvili had initially supported the administration of President Saakashvili, he became disillusioned, notably after the mysterious death of the Prime Minister, Zurab Zhvania (obituary, February 4, 2005) . He became involved in opposition politics, and it was after a rally in November last year that the Georgian government declared a state of emergency, shut down Imedi and accused Patarkatsishvili of plotting a coup. The station was later allowed to reopen.

Patarkatsishvili went into exile in Britain and Israel. In December it was claimed in The Sunday Times that a Georgian government official had been plotting to kill Patarkatsishvili. Despite this, he launched a chaotic campaign in the snap presidential elections called by Saakashvili. Unable to return to Georgia, and pulling out and then re-entering the race days before the vote, he scored only 7 per cent.

Despite this failure, Patarkatsishvili was a household name in Georgia. People knew him for his eccentric appearance, with his moustache a flamboyant blaze of white on his upper lip - and for his excesses. While he was in Moscow rumours spread that, for example, he bought his wife the whole floor of an apartment block in the heart of the city. He also owned a large estate in Georgia, as well as the Dinamo Tblisi football team, and a multimillion-pound mansion in Leatherhead, Surrey, where he died

I’m guessing a split opened up between these guys, probably because Saakashvili reportedly has very serious personality defects, like tie-sucking under stress, which tends to reduce confidence in his abilities. But, probably Saakashvili seemed easier to control for TPTB. In any case, Patarkatsishvili opposed Saakashvili.

^^^^^^^

Anyway, back to Kay, who suddenly claimed to be this dead oligarch’s cousin, and the executor of his will as a matter of fact.

In what has been described as a “desperate step”, controversial US-based buisnessman Joseph Kay, who has claimed to the be the executor of the will of Badri Patarkatsishvili (pictured) has now accused the late billionaire’s widow of having him murdered in a new law suit filed in New York.

Patarkatsishvili died two years ago today, in exile in Surrey, England. He had fled Georgia after being accused of plotting a coup against Mikheil Saakashvili.

Patarkatsishvili was the owner of the Imedi TV station which was stormed by special forces on 7 November 2007. On his death Kay announced that Patarkatsishvili, whom he claimed was a relative (the claim is disputed), had given him control of Imedi.

Kay last year then said - in a statement subsequently underlined by Mikheil Saakashvili’s own office - that he had sold 90% of Imedi to the sovereign wealth fund of the Gulf emirate Rah Al-Khaimah.

Well most of this has since fallen apart.

But Patarkatsishvili’s family never accepted Kay’s claims and two weeks ago announced a major victory over him which has quickly led to the unravelling of much of Kay’s claims and seen the stain of corruption spread into the President’s office. In particular the authorities in Ras Al-Khaimah have chosen to claim that they did not buy Imedi - effectively exposing the president to the claim of having lied about a major business deal for reasons of political convenience.

…We are still searching for information about the mysterious “Mark Monem” who Kay said represented the RAK Invesment Authority when he announced the sale of Imedi. Please look here for more details.

The statement from the oligarch’s family begins…

Recently, several European courts have dealt with the dispute between the Estate of Badri Patarkatsishvili and his step cousin Joseph Kay. The High Court in England recently ruled that Joseph Kay is an unfit character to manage or have any control over assets as an Executor and is banned from doing so in England. Courts in Gibraltar and Liechtenstein also recently ruled against Joseph Kay’s claims that numerous assets under his management were his and not Badri’s.

^^^^^^^

This all devolves into chaos pretty quickly. The 90% ownership interest, Ras Al-Khaimah Invesment Authority (RAKIA), is the sovereign wealth fund of the absolute monarchy of the United Arab Emirates.

But allegedly, through a series of unfortunate mishaps and poor spelling choices and barely plausible explanations, as though these guys can’t afford laywers or something, RAKIA now claims they do not never have never did have anything to do with any of this no way. Nope. Never heard of it. It was RAAK, not RAK, and not RAKIA. Innocent mistake. Sorry we missed it, we’re just really busy counting our money. ‘ Kay?

In fact they ask us to believe they let a year go past where a bunch of imposters, with the active connivance of the president of Georgia, the Georgian telecommunications regulator, the national TV media and Giorgi Arveladze, passed themselves off as representatives of RAKIA when they were nothing of the sort. Indeed we all now know that the company that bought the station was RAAK, and not RAK, Georgia Holding.

mystery man, Mark Monem

And the only person who would seem to know is the person introduced by Joseph Kay as the local representative of the holding company which allegedly purchased 90% of Imedi, Mark Monem.

Rakeen used a specially established vehicle, RAK Georgia Holding, to buy the company, introducing Mark Monem (see video), a local representative of Rakeen at the press conference where the sale was announced.

…Who Mark Monem was or is, is not explained.

Are we supposed to believe this bizarre tale?

Noted expert on Georgia Cory Welt says we should. He might be right, but we confess to being not entirely convinced.

RAKIA’s denial of ownership just as they are staring down the barrel of a legal gun seems just too convenient. What sort of serious company lets people steal its brand for a year and says nothing about it?

One person who surely knows the answer is the mysterious Mark Monem (pictured).

Which is exactly why we are asking for all the help we can get to find out who he is.

And who is “noted expert on Georgia” Cory Welt, who encourages us to believe that it was all an honest mixup? No idea. He runs a blog to “monitor and promote democratic reform in Georgia.” His blogroll includes a few NGOs and government links. He has posted 13 times. He lists himself in Washington DC. He’s been on booger since October 2009. He has 110 profile views.

I’m not gonna say it. Draw your own conclusions based on your experience of the internet.

^^^^^^

Kay’s lawyer hails from New York. This is from March 2008. According to this source, Kay’s lawyer, Seltzer, was known to be a document forger two years ago:

Oddly, no one had known that Josef Kay is the Badri’s heir, except an American lawyer Mr. Seltzer. As reported by Josef Kay himself, “Mr. Seltzer came to me on the second or third day and told me that Badri Patarkatsishvili had left a will. He left it with Mr. Seltzer in New York.”

In the mean time, Mr. Seltzer is known to have been involved in a few scandalous cases, the last of them being the action by Sergei Veselkov, the owner and founder of Nord Service, Inc (NSI). The action was brought to the Texas Court against former Company’s managers Palter and Keiser, and the lawyer of those two is Mr. Emmanuel Seltzer.

In his suit, the owner accused his hired managers of stealing his company.  During the court proceedings, the lawyer Seltzer presented a number of documents and witnesses to prove the alleged fact of selling the company by Mr. Veselkov.

Besides, poor Mr. Veselkov – whose oil drilling companies are working successfully in Siberia and who started the company in question in America for enlarging his business and patenting the technologies - was accused by Mr. Seltzer of procuring, organizing the channel of illegal immigration to the USA, and money laundering.

The experts from NSI managed to prove that all the submitted documents were forged.

3 March the judge Leonard Davis recognized the fact of falsification and declared Sergei Veselkov to be the only legal owner of NSI. It becomes clear from the court’s decision that Palter and Keiser could not be people who have forged the signatures at the presented deeds, as their signatures and those by the false witnesses were just copied from other documents. It’s difficult to figure out by whom it could have been done, if not by the lawyer Seltzer.

Emmanuel Seltzer, a USA citizen of Russian origin, was considered in the USA to be an expert in struggle with money laundering and organized crime. He cooperated with the US investigative bodies about the case of money laundering through the Bank of New York.
12 March [2008] Emmanuel Seltzer was arrested at the Minsk airport. It is known that the lawyers of Patarkatsishvili’s family had applied to Georgian and Byelorussian authorities, accusing Mr. Seltzer of fraud and forgery of the hereditary deeds. At the time being, Mr. Seltzer is arraigned under the Article 380 Part 2 of the Byelorussian Criminal Code – that’s about use of the forged documents by a group of accomplices.

Josef Kay (his real name is Soso Kakiashvili) said the arrest of his lawyer to be the result of intrigues by Berezovsky.

So why is anyone listening to Kay? He has ZERO credibility.

^^^^^^^

I started by noting the corrosive effect played by Imedi teevee, given the decision to do a sex talk show in a largely Orthodox Catholic society, hot on the heels of disturbing the Georgian people with a clumsy and outrageous “war of the worlds” stunt.

It’s all still a little murky, but by their fruits shall ye know them.

Meanwhile, in other Georgian news…

scrambling their little brains just as fast as they can

In Karl Rove, Mind Control, Child Abuse, aangirfan covers some very dark material.

Karl Rove, reportedly, has been a good friend of Jeff Gannon. (Rove-Gannon Connection? - CBS News)

It has been speculated that Jeff Gannon is Johnny Gosch, who as child was reportedly kidnapped and brainwashed by the US military. (Johnny Gosch, Jeff Gannon, Hunter Thompson.)

(I’ll just warn you right now, this is a deep rabbit hole if you’re not prepared, and some of this is very, very disturbing reading. But then again, who will witness for the abused and the murdered, aside from their abusers and murderers, who laugh at them? That’s the only reason to read it, as a witness. It’s the one thing we can do, and it would actually work to stop the evil, if enough people could bring themselves to do it. Food for thought…)

The question has come up whether Jeff Gannon is the same Johnny Gosch who was kidnapped while delivering newspapers in 1982. This suggestion makes people wonder about Hunter Thompson’s suicide, for one thing, because Hunter Thompson was named as the director of a snuff film described in detail by one of the child victims.

You can read part of the testimony at the top link (aangirfan).

The rest is here (scroll down). (Again, warning warning warning this is very very bad stuff.)

But on the way to scrolling down, you’ll first come upon this other story about Disney. And for your convenience, you can also read it here.

^^^^^^^

May 2007.

On May 1, some thousands of New Jersey children were sadistically violated by Comcast’s screening of pornography on the Disney Playhouse cable channel.

How many thousands of innocent 3 to 6-year-old children were traumatized by the close-up groans and grinds of pornography in place of “Handy Manny”?

The number is a well-guarded Disney and Comcast secret.

I received one cynical e-mail saying, “It was a sanctioned technology experiment as the parental controls were overridden. That’s why there’s no government action.” Who will be prosecuted for deliberately and/or recklessly brutalizing these wide-eyed youngsters?

Statistically speaking, some percentage of these small victims will eventually act out on themselves, on their siblings, neighbors, friends, or families and blame themselves!

…Under the circumstances, I understand why my correspondent suspects that the May 1 “accident” was actually a test run by Comcast, Disney – or both – to induce small children into pornography addiction.

The article goes on to limn out the huge pedophile problem at Disney.

So imagine my shock when today I read that something very similar has happened Tuesday in North Carolina. Pornographic content aired in the corner of the kids channel menu from about 6:15 to 8:15 a.m. in parts of Cary, Garner, Morrisville, Wilson, Goldsboro, Willow Spring and Johnston County. The number of children involved? Secret.

North Carolina kids watch porn in TV blunder

It used to be that plonking your children before the TV to watch an innocent and harmless parade of child-friendly specialist shows instilled a sense of safety and trust in busy parents. Not anymore.

More pointedly, thousands of shocked parents in North Carolina may be somewhat less inclined to leave the room from this point forward after pornographic content was mistakenly broadcast on Time Warner’s ‘Kids on Demand’ and ‘Kids Preschool on Demand’ channels this past Tuesday.

The misplaced content, which belonged to the Playboy Channel, presented its wide-eyed viewers with naked women engaged in raw sexual conversation – a far cry from the stream of previews for kiddie shows that was supposed to be airing at the time.

And, adding insult to injury, network operator Time Warner Cable apparently left the adult content running for two hours, even though it received a surge of phone calls from concerned and outraged parents soon after the clumsy on-air snafu.

TWO Hours. That should be enough time to really scramble a few innocent children’s psyches hmm? Oh, oopsie, “technical glitch.” Sure. Check out the “regret.”

“We’re very, very sorry it happened – we know parents are concerned,” said Time Warner Cable spokesman Keith Poston on local news station WRAL. “It was a technical glitch and unfortunately it hit at the worst possible time on the worst possible channels.”

Although unlikely to scrub the minds of any young children exposed to the pornographic content, Time Warner Cable has said it will never allow such an error to happen again.

Uh huh.

^^^^^^^

You know whose fault it’s really going to be, right? The parents of course, for letting their children watch teevee in the morning when they should be getting ready for school like Beaver Cleaver did sixty years ago (read the comments).

Get ready for school, kids!
C’mon parents! You can keep those kids away from the teevee and their ipods and their laptops and their cell phones and all that crap culture satanic music and pornographic advertising swarming them every second of the day, right, thanks to all that sophisticated marketing, right? What?? You say it’s hard? And you have to go to work???
OH YOU FAILURE, YOU!

sounds like it’s only “unexplained” to the public

round-up of details on the “sudden accidental death” of Asok Kumar, Labour MP in the UK. a man with no known health problems, who lives alone, and is found sitting in a chair, dead, by “accident,” and it’s not considered suspicious. and it’s a “huge shock.” and yet, it’s “unexplained.” get it? sounds like he died doing something they’d rather not say.

1. what does “sudden accidental death” mean?

The Indian-born 53-year-old, a former scientist, was single and had no underlying health problems.

Sources said that there was no sign of a break in at his home and there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances or third party involved.

Police officers forced entry to the home in Marton, Middlesbrough, at 12.30pm and found the MP’s body inside.

Dr Kumar, an aide to Hilary Benn, the Environment Secretary, had represented the north east constituency since 1997 and was regarded as a champion of British Steel. He was the fifth MP of Asian origin to be elected in post-war Britain.

Before becoming an MP, Dr Kumar was a research fellow at Imperial College, London and a research scientist for British Steel.

Dr Richard Pike, chief executive of the Royal Society of Chemistry said: “Ashok was a very great friend and long-standing supporter of the society and its work in Parliament. His background in science and chemical engineering made him very well equipped to represent his Middlesborough constituency.

2. tributes by Gordon Brown and Tony Blair

Dr Ashok Kumar, 53, had been working as normal, with major commitments as parliamentary private secretary to Hilary Benn, the environment secretary. He was also campaigning for Corus steelworkers’ jobs in his Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland constituency. His body was found after anxious staff failed to rouse him by phone and called emergency services, who broke into his home.

The prime minister, Gordon Brown, led tributes to the former research scientist’s 14-year Commons career, saying: “He was a tenacious campaigner for his constituents and a warm and incredibly generous man.” The former prime minister Tony Blair, a fellow north-east MP before his retirement, said: “Ashok was a dedicated MP, with a determination to serve the community he was from.”

Cleveland police said Kumar’s death was not being treated as suspicious but remained unexplained.

Police said paramedics had declared him dead at the scene and that relatives had been informed.

3. discovered sitting in a chair

He was discovered sitting in his chair in Marton, Middlesbrough, by officers who were called to the redbrick semi-detached house at lunchtime. He was not known to have been unwell. A post-mortem examination was due to take place tonight and police said they were investigating it as a “sudden accidental death”. Sources indicated that it was not thought to be suspicious at this stage.

Dr Kumar had also been a strong supporter of the controversial police officer Det Supt Ray Mallon, known as Robocop, who pioneered a popular zero tolerance crime policy before becoming the subject of a £5m corruption investigation into Cleveland Police. Mr Mallon was cleared of any wrongdoing and went on to become the first directly-elected Mayor of Middlesbrough.

In 2006 the MP broke ranks by calling for the then-Prime Minister Tony Blair to make way for Gordon Brown. In an article in the Northern Echo he demonstrated Mr Blair’s waning authority, saying: “If Mr Blair is concerned with securing a lasting and memorable legacy for Britain, then I can think of no better way than to allow a smooth and rapid succession for Mr Brown.” Today however Mr Blair also paid tribute: “As a neighbouring MP I saw first hand his commitment to the north-east where the support he received grew year after year. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”

Police said the 53-year-old had suffered an accident.

truth has a way of coming out

1. Peter Moore, consultant who was kidnapped allegedly by Iran, believes he was always in IRAQ.

Peter Moore, the British IT consultant kidnapped on May 29, 2007 in Iraq and held hostage for three years by Shia extremists, has spoken about his ordeal. In the first interview about his time in captivity, Moore says he was held in Basra - not in Iran, as many reports had claimed - and denies there was any significant Iranian link to the group beyond some covert funding.

The 36-year-old, who was finally released on December 30 last year, told the Times today that he had suffered torture including being hung by his arms from a door, dousings with water and mock executions. Bizarrely, later in his captivity he played ping-pong with one of the men holding him.

To conquer the boredom of being held with only a television for company, Moore says he counted dots on curtains, invented an imaginary tube map on the wall and indulged in fantasies about motorcycling. “I would pretend that I wasn’t there. I pretended I was in a bike shop negotiating which motorbike to buy,” he told the paper. He also invented a wife to try to win the sympathy of his guards – a Brazilian malaria doctor he began almost to believe in himself – and pretended to be Catholic.

US military intelligence has asserted that the captured men – Moore was taken with four security guards, all subsequently executed – did spend some time in Iran.

It was also alleged they had been taken there within 24 hours of capture and held there throughout. But Moore was only willing to concede that he might briefly have crossed into Iran and out again. He told the Times: “We could hear a train and there were loads of mortars going off around us, loads of explosions. It definitely wasn’t Iran.”

Moore believes he was held for most of his captivity in Basra, but also spent time in Baghdad, Hilla and Karbala – all cities in Iraq. He also dismisses the suggestion the kidnap was orchestrated by Iran’s Republican Guard, insisting the kidnappers – a group calling themselves the League of the Righteous - were “Iraqi resistance” with “representation” in Iraq’s government.

According to the Times, Moore is remarkably collected for somebody who has suffered such an ordeal. He plans to visit friends in Guyana and then take a motorbike tour of New Zealand.

2. body found under the patio of Kray friend after tip-off

A MAN’S body has been found buried in the back garden of a house belonging to an ex-convict with links to the Kray twins.

Wrapped in rotting carpet, the corpse was excavated from under the patio of the terraced home. The owner of the house, who is now dying of cancer, has been arrested.

Police began the grisly search after a tip-off that a murder victim had lain under earth and concrete for at least 15 years.

Digging went on for two days before the body was located. Excavations are likely to continue for some days as police search for more clues. Scotland Yard traced the owner of the property in Alderville Road, Fulham, west London, to a hospice where he is terminally ill with cancer. Roy Heath, 52, was questioned over allegations that he had the man killed over a property deal that went wrong.

Heath, who has a record for violence, is said to have struck up a friendship with gangland boss Reggie Kray while they were serving time in the same prison. He was arrested and bailed on Tuesday at the hospice in Lambeth, south London.

It is understood he has just weeks or even days to live.

Two other men, aged 47 and 52, were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the find. They were still in custody last night.

Police have yet to establish the identity of the body, said to be that of a “very small man”.

Detective Inspector Tim Dobson said: “It is believed that the body may have been at the scene between 15 and 20 years. Whilst inquiries are underway to establish the identity of this person, we are keen to speak to anyone who may have lived in this road around that time.”

3. the Kray twins — plugged in organized UK crime bosses from the 50s and 60s

Reginald “Reggie” Kray (24 October 1933 – 1 October 2000) and his twin brother Ronald “Ronnie” Kray (died 17 March 1995) were the foremost perpetrators of organised crime in London’s East End during the 1950s and 1960s. Ronald, commonly referred to as Ron or Ronnie, suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. The Krays were involved in armed robberies, arson, protection rackets, violent assaults including torture and the murders of Jack “The Hat” McVitie and George Cornell. As West End nightclub owners they mixed with prominent entertainers including Diana Dors, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and politicians, The Krays were highly respected. In the 1960s they became celebrities in their own right, being photographed by David Bailey and interviewed on television.

They were arrested on 9 May 1968 and convicted in 1969 by the efforts of a squad of detectives led by Detective Superintendent Leonard “Nipper” Read, and were both sentenced to life imprisonment.

Ronnie remained in prison until his death on 17 March 1995, but Reggie was released from prison on compassionate grounds in August 2000, a few weeks before his death from cancer.

…[The Krays also came into the public eye when an exposé in the tabloid newspaper Sunday Mirror alleged that Ron had had a sexual relationship with Lord Boothby, a UK Conservative Party politician. Although no names were printed, Boothby threatened to sue, the newspaper backed down, sacked its editor, apologised, and paid Boothby £40,000 in an out of court settlement. As a result, other newspapers were less willing to uncover the Krays’ connections and criminal activities.

The police investigated the Krays on several occasions, but the twins’ reputation for violence meant witnesses were afraid to come forward to testify. There was also a political problem for both main parties. It was neither in the interests of the Conservative Party to press the police to end the Krays’ power lest the Boothby connection was again publicised and demonstrated, or those of the Labour Party because their MP Tom Driberg was also rumoured to have had a relationship with Ronnie.

4. another one: ‘American Fritzl’ Aswad Ayinde ‘directed Fugees video’

51-year-old man from New Jersey is in court today accused of repeatedly raping his five daughters and fathering six children by them in a case with disturbing echoes of the crimes of the incestuous British rapist Adult R - and those of Joseph Fritzl in Austria.

Despite concerns that his victims could suffer if he is named publicly, at least one US newspaper has identified the man as Aswad Ayinde, saying he is the award-winning director of the Fugees video Killing Me Softly.

Prosecutors told New Jersey’s Superior Court yesterday that 51-year-old Ayinde, also known as Eric McGill, is a “depraved” man with a “Messianic complex”. His ex-wife Beverley said yesterday that he had impregnated his daughters in an attempt to keep his bloodline ‘pure’.

“He said the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen,” she told the court.

The abuse is alleged to have begun in the mid 1980s and continued until 2002 when Beverley Ayinde finally left her husband. During that time Ayinde is alleged to have beaten his children with wooden boards and kicked them with steel-toed boots. Moving house frequently to avoid the attentions of the authorities – on one occasion going to Florida - he repeatedly raped his children.

Three of Ayinde’s daughters became pregnant, and Beverley Ayinde told the court some of the resulting six babies were delivered at home and never received birth certificates. In at least two instances children died at home and were buried without the authorities being informed. The surviving children were schooled at home and denied contact with the outside world.

On one occasion Beverley herself miscarried twins after her husband forced her to carry a dead great dane wrapped in a carpet for burial.

In a calm voice yesterday, Beverley Ayinde said she did not report her then husband to police for fear of incurring beatings. “I was afraid to ever accuse him of being demented, or being a paedophile. I knew the word but I wouldn’t dare use it because it would result in a beating,” she said. The judge is expected to rule today on the admissibility of her evidence.

Many of the rapes and assaults are alleged to have been carried out when the family was squatting in a disused mortuary. Beverley Ayinde says her then husband renovated one room for himself but forced his family to live in the dilapidated main part of the building.

Where the parallels between Aswad Ayinde and the recently-sentenced British man Adult R end is in the lack of anonymity. The UK courts have forbidden the identification of Adult R in order to protect his family from public disclosure, but no such protection has been granted to Ayinde in the US.

However, the news agency Associated Press made its own decision not to name Ayinde. It said: “The Associated Press generally doesn’t identify victims of sexual crimes and is not reporting the names of the husband and wife to protect the identities of their children, now all over 18 years of age.”

Some US newspapers have respected this decision. Ayinde was first arrested as long ago as 2006, and has appeared in court earlier this month – but the New York Times has not disclosed his identity. The New York Daily News has had no such qualms, however. It names him, and goes further – identifying him as the director of the Fugees video which won an MTV award in 1996.

The ultra-tabloid New York Post does not name Ayinde, while overseas the London Times does identify him – both papers are owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News International. The First Post has decided to name Ayinde as his identity is now widely known across the internet.

5. UK man harassed to death by punks

Police forces were warned by the Chief Inspector of Constabulary yesterday that they were failing to tackle the toll of anti-social behaviour on communities across the country.

As Denis O’Connor was speaking, reports began to emerge of a man with a mental age of 10 who had been “tormented to death” by youths who harassed him for more than a decade.

David Askew, 64, collapsed and died outside his house minutes after CCTV cameras recorded two teenagers approaching the house.

Last night, Greater Manchester police confirmed that an 18-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over Mr Askew’s death. Earlier police had confirmed that they had referred the case to the Independent Police Complaints Commission after allegations from Mr Askew’s neighbours.

Police insisted they had done everything possible to support Mr Askew, his wheelchair-bound mother, Rose, and brother Brian. They had been to the property in Hattersley, Greater Manchester, 10 times in the last year after reports of anti-social behaviour. One youth – currently in prison – has an ASBO for harassing the family.

But neighbours insisted too little had been done. One said Mr Askew’s ordeal had been “like bear-baiting”. Another, Hazel Holley, 64, said: “The police did nothing. If you see two policemen on this estate you say snap. The only time recently I have seen a police car round here was today – when the man was already dead.”

a culture of ‘having a quiet word’

Please note the professionals involved in the Holly Grieg case: police, social workers, doctors, etc.

‘Some of the details are just heart-rending. Of course the question is how on earth did something like this happen without someone noticing?’ - Nick Clegg
Oh sorry, that’s regarding a DIFFERENT appalling abuse scandal, which broke in November 2008.
clean cut, nice clothes, enjoying a drought beer at the pub
no doubt having a laugh about his daughters who keep getting pregnant
no doubt failing to mention that he rapes them every day

A staggering 150 chances were squandered to save two sisters kept as sex slaves by their father. He made them pregnant 19 times  -  under the noses of social workers and other professionals who failed to halt the abuse for 28 years.

The man’s sister-in-law last night claimed that he carried out the horrific abuse to milk the child support system. She accused the jobless 56-year-old of skimming thousands from the state by taking for himself the benefit money paid for the youngsters  -  currently worth £31.25 a week per child.

Points made:

  • Nine babies born, seven survive.
  • Two babies died at birth.
  • Ten miscarriages and abortions between the sisters.
  • NO DOCTORS, NURSES or SOCIAL WORKERS launched an investigation to these pregnancies.

But whenever they were asked about their injuries or the father of their children, the terrified women denied everything in fear their children would be taken away.

What health care and/or mental health professional could possibly predict that abuse victims would deny the abuse and protect their abuser, and especially so in order to protect their own innocent babies?

ARE HEALTH CARE AND/OR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND/OR SOCIAL WORKERS EXPECTED TO KNOW SUCH THINGS, SUCH ARCANE KNOWLEDGE?

Police believe the sisters, whose mother fled the home when they were young, were raped hundreds of times. The domineering father, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, admitted 25 rapes and four indecent assaults at a hearing last month.

Mr Clegg said he wanted to know what medical professionals, social workers and schools had been doing over the last 20 years. Yesterday, Sheffield social services refused to answer key questions, hiding behind the announcement that an independent Serious Case Review has been set up to find out what went wrong. Lincolnshire County Council’s director of children’s services, Peter Duxbury, expressed ’sincere sympathy’ to the victims but insisted: ‘Since these events took place, thankfully our child protection systems have improved a great deal. ‘Significant improvements have been made to ensure the safety of children in Lincolnshire.’

Oh really?

More on this sociopath rapist here, if you can stand it.

^^^^^^^

Now to answer the question, how did he get away with it?

Some people say that the authorities get duped and tend to “look the other way.”

Loathe to criticise  -  still less to interfere with  -  the lives of fractured and failing underclass families, the official bodies charged with protecting the most vulnerable in our society simply looked the other way….The point is clear: time and again those who should have been in a position to stop this abuse looked the other way, or sat on their hands. Why? Because they refused to contemplate the unpalatable, politically incorrect truth  -  that some families are not just ’struggling to cope in challenging circumstances’, to borrow PC parlance, but are harbouring true evil in their midst.

Do you have it? These social workers and doctors and police officers are just fine regular people, just like yourself, and they’ve been duped by these loathsome criminals, and they ‘looked the other way’ for twenty-eight years, over a hundred different authorities, because… well hey, you know what they call it, right?

HUMAN ERROR.

YES IT’S REGRETTABLE, BUT THEN AGAIN, WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED?

^^^^^^^

Today the authorities APOLOGIZE for their TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS of, REGRETTABLY, LOOKING THE OTHER WAY.

Chris Cook, the independent chair of the Lincolnshire safeguarding children board, said: “We are genuinely sorry. We should have protected you. This is a tragic and complicated case. The man responsible, who intimidated and frightened his family, was convicted of multiple counts of rape and is serving a life sentence.”

Sue Fiennes, the independent chair of the Sheffield safeguarding children board, said: “We want to apologise to the family at the heart of this case. It will be clear that we failed this family. This report will not make comfortable reading for any of the organisations concerned with the family. Lessons are being learned by the agencies involved.”

The 39-page executive summary of the serious case review, written by Professor Pat Cantrill and spanning 35 years, found numerous opportunities to intervene “were missed individually and collectively”. Cantrill said a culture of “having a quiet word” contributed to failures to help the family.

“We have got to learn from these serious case reviews,” she added. “You are aware, as I am aware, that there are a number of these serious case reviews that happen, and we always don’t seem to learn from them. It only really needed one person with tenacity to keep pushing this and pushing this, and we might have had a much earlier recognition and action being taken.”

The review made 128 recommendations for improving understanding, practice, procedures and training into intra-familial abuse, including eight national recommendations. It also recommended improvements in sharing information, record-keeping and support for professionals. All the recommendations have been implemented or are being implemented.

Oh goody. I’m sure all that record-sharing will keep the children safe now.

Details of the 39 page report, which reviewed the twenty-eight years of missed opportunities, include:

  • 12 reported disclosures of physical abuse
  • 7 allegations regarding sexual abuse from family members
  • 16 child protection conferences and strategy meetings
  • the family moved 67 times
  • professionals admitting being “afraid” of the father
  • the girls had extended absences from school due to their injuries and pregnancies

This man took pleasure in abusing his daughters. He beat them, puched, kicked and threw them around, he held them next to gas flames when they resisted, burning their eyes. He paraded them around in public, taking them into the pub with him and giving them alcohol, and treating them like his wives. He threatened they would lose their babies if they told.

A clear cut sociopath.

^^^^^^^

So, WHY AGAIN did everyone miss this for twenty-eight years? Supposedly, the excuse is, that he’s a clever bloke who managed to fool a lot of people, even trained authorities. Everyone is so gullible, see? Even trained authorities, who should know all about abusers and sociopaths and victims and how they work the system. But since they are all just nice human beings, just like you and me, and they’re a little gullible too, just like you and me, and sometimes they just looked the other way. Hey you’d probably do the same thing, right? Who are we to judge, right?

The alternative explanation being that they knew, and they just didn’t give a shit, or if they did try to stop him because they did give a shit, there was always someone higher up the food chain who just didn’t give a shit. And there was nothing they could do, see? Because of the corruption. People in a position to do something just don’t care. So nothing happened for twenty-eight years, except that these two girls and their brother lived through hell and had their lives and innocence and psyches utterly ransacked.

But the father… his identity is protected.

And in his jail cell, he shows no remorse. Perhaps the guards even bring him sugary cakes for dessert.

And the authorities make their apologies and implement their recommendations and we all go on to the next story.

Sociopaths know that it’s SO EASY to get away with this stuff.

All they have to do is conduct a review, make an apology, and implement a few recommendations.

And people will accept that. Because these authorities… we know that they are just human beings, and we all make mistakes. And we want to be given the same benefit of the doubt should anything go wrong for us.

Sociopaths will use this maneuver over and over and over again, on matters large and small. They know EXACTLY how human beings think.

I strongly recommend, I beg actually, that my fellow human beings stop being so gullible.

The Psychopath - The Mask of Sanity

Imagine - if you can - not having a conscience, none at all, no feelings of guilt or remorse no matter what you do, no limiting sense of concern for the well-being of strangers, friends, or even family members. Imagine no struggles with shame, not a single one in your whole life, no matter what kind of selfish, lazy, harmful, or immoral action you had taken.

And pretend that the concept of responsibility is unknown to you, except as a burden others seem to accept without question, like gullible fools.

Now add to this strange fantasy the ability to conceal from other people that your psychological makeup is radically different from theirs. Since everyone simply assumes that conscience is universal among human beings, hiding the fact that you are conscience-free is nearly effortless.

You are not held back from any of your desires by guilt or shame, and you are never confronted by others for your cold-bloodedness. The ice water in your veins is so bizarre, so completely outside of their personal experience, that they seldom even guess at your condition.

In other words, you are completely free of internal restraints, and your unhampered liberty to do just as you please, with no pangs of conscience, is conveniently invisible to the world.

You can do anything at all, and still your strange advantage over the majority of people, who are kept in line by their consciences will most likely remain undiscovered.

Or Not.

Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara says the Chinese want all loans to be repaid before loosening its purse. According to the Mutambara the Chinese President Hu Jintao revealed to him during a brief meeting at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland that he considers Beijing relationship with Harare as ’business partners’ and not ’friends’.

The Chinese are quoted telling the Mr. Mutambara that: “We’ll not condemn you publicly but we’ll not give you cash”. And according to the Deputy Prime Minister, “unless we do the right thing the Chinese will not work with us.”

The two countries have signed a series of agreements in infrastructure, tourism, energy and mining but the cooperation has largely not translated into an improved standard of living for ordinary Zimbabweans.

Zimbabwe has literally handed over control of most sectors of the economy to the Chinese during the past few years in return for short-term financial assistance to enable Mugabe’s government to ride one crisis after another.

2. nice. about Mugabe…

Are the people of Zimbabwe really celebrating Robert Mugabe’s 86th Birthday? What is there to celebrate about this aberrant human form? Thirty years in power and nothing good to show for it. He is determined to cling on to power for the rest of his life despite embarrassingly losing an election to a more dignified and respectable opposition leader and refusing to hand over the reins of government. Mugabe is not only ruthless, he is incapable of showing remorse and lacks all human form of compassion. On close examination, it is possible that he has an inherent mental condition. Why? Because of all the abnormalities contained in his dispositions and behaviour. When the lust for power deprives anyone of a second thought faculty, you become your own victim. Because you lose control of your sanity as a result of your desperation to satisfy your ego-driven tendencies.

The suspicions were spelled out in a report recently compiled by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, which was established by Congress in 2000 in order to “monitor, investigate and submit to Congress an annual report on the national security implications of the bilateral trade and economic relationship between the United States and the People’s Republic of China, and to provide recommendations, where appropriate, to Congress for legislative and administrative action.” The report noted, among other things, that the group of Chinese corporations has business ties with Israeli businessman and diamond magnate Lev Leviev.

4. Nigeria: Obasanjo, corrupt ex-Nigerian president,  pays tribute to Tony Blair, war criminal and alleged pedophile, for helping Nigeria, Blair also meets Goodluck Jonathan kiss kiss hug hug

Abuja — Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who is in Nigeria for the THISDAY’s Nigeria at 50, 2010 Awards, yesterday relived the diplomatic interactions that contributed to the success of their administrations.

Speaking at an Inter-faith Malaria Initiative organised by the Nigeria Inter-faith Action Association with funding support from Federal Government, World Bank, Centre for Inter-faith Action on Global Poverty and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation held at the Kuje Town Hall in Abuja, Obasanjo said the former British premier made a significant contribution to Nigeria’s exit from the Paris Club and other creditor nations.

Obasanjo, whose entry into the venue of the event elicited wild, nostalgic cheers from the audience, said while he travelled round the globe to get Nigeria off the Paris Club debt yoke, he received promises from world leaders which were not fruitful thus prompting his government to search for a facilitator and a member of the Group of Seven industrialised nations (G7) which they found in Mr. Blair.

He said the debt relief allowed the country to channel resources into the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) projects notably funds needed to fight infant mortality and morbidity occasioned by such diseases as malaria.

…Also yesterday, Blair visited Acting President Goodluck Jonathan at his Akinola Aguda residence, Presidential Villa, Abuja and commended him for holding the country together in the face of the daunting political leadership facing the country.

Blair also expressed concern about recent political developments in the country and thanked Jonathan for the skilful way he has handled the country.

6. oil agenda and bush visit

United States of America’s insistence on establishing a military high command for Africa called AFRICOM in the Gulf of Guinea is not for the love of the continent, but principally for the lust for its oil resources.

Over the years, the U.S. has significantly increased its oil imports from Africa, mainly through most of its companies operating in Nigeria, Angola, and to a lesser extent from Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Sudan.

The expectation of an average American is that by 2015 about 25 percent of its oil imports would come from Africa, essentially from the Gulf of Guinea. Therefore, any threat to sustained oil exploration and production activities in the region is, invariably, a direct threat to America’s interest.

Maintaining stability in the centres of oil production in Africa has remained a prime concern to the US.

The threat from China With China also venturing outside for other sources of oil to support its quest for solutions to its energy needs, the competition has heightened the pressure on the U.S. to safeguard its existing oil interests.

9. Nigeria: investigator of financial crimes assassinated

A former senior investigator with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Danjuma Mohammed was yesterday shot dead in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja. He was ambushed by gunmen as he returned home from a trip from Minna, Niger State.

Mr Mohammed, a DeputySuperintendent of Police and top aide of the former EFCC boss, Nuhu Ribadu, was responsible for several high profile cases during Mr Ribadu’s leadership of the EFCC leading to landmark conviction of some corrupt government officials. He was until his assassination yesterday a deputy investigator at the Federal Inland Revenue Service. Mr. Mohammed was one of the first casualties of the power play in the EFCC when Farida Waziri took over the three years ago.

His assassination is the second against financial crimes investigators. In November 2009, Abubakar Umar, a lawyer and special assistant to Ahmeed Al-Mustapha, registrar of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), was killed and burned in his car in Abuja.

the love affair with the military must continue

SHAPE is the central command of NATO’s military forces.

From 1951 SHAPE was the headquarters of operational forces in the European theatre (Allied Command Europe, ACE), but since 2003 SHAPE has been the headquarters of Allied Command Operations (ACO) controlling all allied operations worldwide. … The commanding officer of Allied Command Operations has also retained the title “Supreme Allied Commander Europe” (SACEUR), and continues to be a U.S. four-star general officer or flag officer who also serves as Commander, U.S. European Command.

Today, our illustrious allied forces have made a mistake:

On the second day of a major military offensive against the Taliban, NATO officials confirmed Sunday that their rockets missed the intended targets and instead claimed the lives of 12 Afghan civilians. …Thousands of NATO and Afghan troops encountered pockets of resistance, fighting off sniper attacks, as they moved deeper into Marjah, a town of 80,000 people that is the linchpin of the militants’ logistical and opium-smuggling network in Helmand province.

…The civilian deaths were a blow to NATO and the Afghan government’s attempts to win the allegiance of Afghans and get them to turn away from the insurgents. NATO said two rockets from a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System were aimed at insurgents firing on Afghan and NATO forces, but stuck 1,000 feet (300 meters) off their intended target. “We deeply regret this tragic loss of life,” said Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan.

Oh sure they do.

^^^^^^^

Kay Griggs, who is an historian, explained in her 1998 interviews that the CIA is a red herring, because the big decisions really come down from SHAPE, ie: NATO.

This site provides an extensive rundown on the history and politics of SHAPE commanders. Since inception, US and UK Army Generals have dominated SHAPE. Of the sixteen SACEURs (Supreme Allied Commander Europe), all are Americans and twelve have been US Army Generals. The Deputy SACEUR list has a similar make-up, except that 16 of 26 are from the British Army, the other ten divided among the German Army and the RAF.

This means that a highly insular group of military people exercise tremendous power throughout the world and over the other NATO members.

Canada has been a member of NATO since 1949.

Presumably, Canadian military culture would be totally compatible with NATO and SHAPE, which are commanded by US and UK Generals. In other words, it’s probably safe to say that at the highest levels, military culture is fairly homogeneous. What’s acceptable for a high-ranking military officer in the US is probably also acceptable in the UK and in Canada and in Germany, etc. Because they all have to work together under one command.

^^^^^^^

So what is acceptable to a high-ranking US military officer?

Kay Griggs:

“Now these generals in the Marine Corps and Army, according to my husband, they are ordered. My husband, being Chief of Staff, told his men it was like this:  It’s the Marine Corps first — the Brotherhood, the Cherry Marines, the bonding that goes on. The Marine Corps comes before God, before Jesus Christ, before the country.  My husband is not a Christian, he’s an existentialist, and most of these guys are.  [Their god is] the Brotherhood.  It’s very German, it has Masonic leanings.  They’re all Masons. This Brotherhood — Opus Dei — they’re the Mob.  The Marine Corps are the hit men.  They’re mercenaries.  They’ll work for anybody.  They’ll switch hats.  My husband said it’s no big deal.  I’ll go work for the State Department.
“The Marine Corps is just a smoke-and-mirrors thing.  On [my husband's] level, he said we’ve never been an enemy to the Soviet Union.  They work with these Communists.  The man who started this whole intelligence operation — OSS [Office of Strategic Services] — he was recruiting known Communists who were involved in subverting Spain.  They’re not Americans.  They’re not Christians.  They’re German existentialists.  Now what are they doing running our nation?  They have more affinity for the State of Israel than they do our nation.  They don’t care about American citizens.  The judges now in the courts are all military officers following chain-of-command orders.  They’re not independent judges.”

The term “cherry Marines” refers to homosexual culture. Kay describes around 1:52:00 how young recruits are “turned” psychologically. They participate in many nude group activities.

Those who excel in this climate are called “rising stars.”
“That’s the word the State Department uses for those who are controlled.” - Kay Griggs
“From his file he was a shining, bright star.” - Major General Yvan Blondin, Russ Williams’ commanding officer

^^^^^^^

As a thought experiment, read these various remarks made by high-ranking Canadian military officers as if they have an insular, secretive culture in which depravity and murder are no big deal. In which one may not enter the highest ranks *unless* one has the proper mindset: depravity and murder are no big deal. In which there has been a terrible breach that threatens to expose this culture.

“We’re shocked by the connection made to a leader in our Air Force.”

…Maj. Gen. Blondin, who is Col. Williams’s commander, said he didn’t know the 8 Wing commander personally. He said members of the Canadian Forces who reach the position of Wing commander are ‘extraordinary people’ who ‘rise above’ others in the military.

“This is what Col. Williams has done and why he was picked to be a Wing commander,” Maj. Gen. Blondin said. “From my own observations that’s all I saw. I never saw anything else. I’ll certainly be looking at following this investigation closely.”

“From his file he was a shining, bright star. If you talk to people on the Wing they will probably tell you they admired the Wing commander,” Maj. Gen. Blondin said. “No one thought something like this is possible. We don’t know what to think about this.”

…“There are many facets to this,” Lt. Col. Murphy said. “We are just absorbing it now as we can. The allegations are a huge shock.” CFB Trenton Honourary Colonel Glen Rainbird, who serves as the community liaison for the base, said he will be contacting local officials to talk about the arrest.

“It’s very important for us ensure our community leaders understand this is about an individual and a civil matter,” Hon. Col. Rainbird said. “What 8 Wing brings to the community is what the Canadian Forces brings to the community - a lot of people who are members of our community are members of the Canadian Forces.”

Maj. Gen. Blondin said the arrests are not a reflection of the Air Force. “These charges are about the acts of one person,” Maj. Gen. Blondin said. “We will not shy away from our uniforms.”

Is this thought experiment fair?

Also in 1998, the same year Kay gave her interviews, a deposition was given in the matter of William M. Tyree, Jr., Plaintiff vs. Central Intelligence Agency, L. Scott Harshbarger, A. Paul Celluci, George Bush, Dois Gene Tatum, Defendants.

The deponent’s name is Desiree A. Ferdinand of New Mexico. Ms. Ferdinand testified about her father, who died on 1/7/90.

He originally was with the military and then he went into New York City Police Department and did crossover work with Central Intelligence Agency and while he was with the military until his death, he was with Military Intelligence, Counter Intelligence Corps.

…That is my father’s headstone, which reads Albert V. Carone, Colonel, U.S. Army.

Mr. Carone was a colonel, a high-ranking military officer. The same rank as Russ Williams.

After Mr. Carone died, the military denied ever knowing him. Bank accounts disappeared. Insurance policies disappeared. Files disappeared. Records disappeared. Because in addition to being a colonel, Mr. Carone also worked for the CIA, the Mafia, and the NYPD.

As a small child he came under Vito Genovese. After Genovese’s death,

It went to Joseph Colombo. My father knew the Gallo brothers, Joseph Gallo but I cannot remember his brother’s name. The Mazzaratti family, the Colombo family. At the time that my father was in Brooklyn, he dealt a great deal with the main head which was Gambino himself, and he was very close to Joe Colombo, the Bonanno family, Joe Bonanno, and he was very close to Paulie Castelano.

…This is my godfather, Pete Porazzo. He was in the New York City Police Department and was a Sargeant with the New York City Police Department. He was involved with a man by the name of Bob Leuci and my father, as far as drug running, coming in through CIA into organized crime to put it on the street.

  • Mr. Carone went to the NYC police department in 1946.
  • He spoke Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese.
  • He was stationed in the South Pacific during WW II.
  • He went to school for intelligence and espionage.

DF: I think at one time my father was with the 42nd but my father mainly worked for the 19th division and I think the 21st division because my father had taken over the job of what is known as Bag Man, from a man by the name of Jimmy Reardon, also known as Squire Reardon. Bag Man was the man who got the payoffs for the police department to look the other way.
RK: And your father took that job over from Reardon?
DF: Yes.
RK: Do you know why he took it over from Reardon?
DF: No, I really don’t. I just know that there was drugs with the families involved. The agency, the CIA, was bringing in drugs and dad was the liaison between organized crime families because my father was a made man with organized crime; he rode both sides of the fence. They used dad for it so dad used to take the payoffs from different people and there were certain people in the police department that were paid off to look the other way.
RK: How do you know that he played both sides of the fence?
DF: Because when I was growing up it was discussed in the house.

Et cetera. Just incredible. It goes on and on and on. Army, the mob, CIA, NYPD… one big happy family! He was also a “bag man” for the CIA, though they call it “paymaster” — you know, because it’s official business I guess.

Black operations were paid through my father. If people needed to be hired, they were hired through my father. If people needed to be eliminated, he was then one who was the final, I guess, down the line, to give the order.

He worked with people such as William Casey, Oliver North, Theodore Shackley, Manuel Noriega, and he had multiple passports…. until the last mission, which was to Tapechula, Mexico in 1984/85.

When he came home he was very depressed. He said he could not do this work any longer and he said he was not long for this world, that the suits would be coming for him. I searched all over for Jim Strauss. He finally found me. He came to visit. He brought up the same mission and stated that dad did not have the stomach after that mission any longer and that was the last mission they were on together.

Directly after that mission a man named Michael Harari menacingly approached Ms. Ferdinand in a parking lot, but she made a scene and he left. But that evening Mr. Carone became violently ill, mysteriously, and ended up with failing kidneys. He never recovered and became incapacitated. Mr. Carone’s attitude toward the military changed from that time. He wanted his daughter to know things.

He said that he knew that the suits had come to get him. He said that he was not long for this world and that it just wasn’t worth it. I had to promise him that I would not bury him in his military uniform. I asked him what he wanted done with it and he told me to burn it.

…Yeah, he didn’t have the stomach to do the work that they wanted him to do any longer and the reason for it was because of this village. They had taken out an entire village of men, women and children and they executed them and put them in a mass grave and put Lyme over them.

…When my father got sick, my father told me to remember certain names and one of them was Elliot Abrams.

General Richard Stilwell. My father worked with him in Asia. My father also did a lot of training of certain troops with General Richard Stilwell, gorilla [sic] training. …I’m positive he said South East Asia.

George Teesdale had something to do, if my memory serves me correct, with, I don’t know if he had something to do with pilots, planes, something to do with the agency as far as flights or planes.

There were two things in particular that bothered Mr. Carone: MIAs in Vietnam, and drug trafficking.

…He was tired of the drug trafficking. He had made the remark that it had gone on for very long, that they stuck it in the black community because nobody would really give a damn about the Harlem and East Harlem area and that they realized that a lot of money could be made and who would listen to those people anyway.

…All I can tell you is that he had mentioned Ollie North. As far as the drug trade, Mr. Shackley was mentioned. Mr. Richard Armitage was mentioned also. I have never spoken to or met Mr. Armitage. Colonel North would not speak to me. I have spoken to Mr. Shackley.

RK: Now in your father’s travel, we had mentioned Asia, Europe, the Bahamas. Did he ever go into South America?

DF: Yes. That is where he knew Colonel North from in dealings with Mr. Noriega and dealings with Mike, who I will presume is Mr. Harari for the simple reason that dad used to refer to Mike and used to refer to the Mossad at the same time and later on I found out that Mr. Harari, I will say had dealings with the Mossad.

…He was just really upset when I guess the drug trafficking was getting out of hand. They were using the drugs to buy guns, black operations were getting worse, “running amuck” was the expression.

Running amok 25 years ago. His own daughter admits he was dirty as the day long, and yet he felt that things were getting out of hand by the mid-80s. Extrapolate.

Mr. Carone also talked about certain operations, assassination teams. This was the reason for the deposition.

…Just that there was an operation Sand Man. It was an assassination team for certain people that needed to be eliminated through the agency. He used to talk about a fellow by the name of Sandy, who was a Green Beret at the time, that he had been with him and worked with him.

…It was the Green Beret out of Massachusetts. The Fort Devens area. A colonel my father knew, Colonel Cutolo. It had something to do with Colonel Cutolo.

This Green Beret is in Walpole State Prison, in Massachusetts, “who was framed for a murder because of what he knew as far as operations, Black operations.”

When my father got really sick, he felt that he had to clear this kid’s name.

Oh yeah, one other guy: George Bush.

RK: How do you know it was that George Bush?
DF: Because my father said at one time he was, number one the president of the United States is involved, and if all of this information came down it would bring down the Oval Office. Number two, he was involved with drug running because my father worked with him when he was with the CIA.

^^^^^^^

If only that were true. If only releasing scandalous information worked.
But the information has been released, and it didn’t bring down the Oval Office.
Plenty of information has been exposed. Whistleblowers have come forth. Things get leaked. People put things together, and what happens?

NOTHING!

Why is that? What can explain that? People will say, oh this stuff can’t be true.

But in fact, it must be true. People in power don’t get into power without tithing this wicked system, and once in, they cannot take on the corruption without exposing themselves. It can only be ignored. And so it is.

And when something goes wrong, like the Colonel Williams allegations, that poses a very serious breach of security. But as long as people continue to believe myths about the military, the narratives will continue to work. Perhaps that is what retired colonel Alain Pellerin meant when he said:

There is a love affair between the population and the armed forces
and I don’t think that will change.
It’s really just one individual who’s accused of a serious crime.

Which might mean: You keep believing the myth while we amputate Colonel Williams. Thank you (wink wink).

UPDATE: CIA involvement with drug trade resulted in death threats against US senator

excerpts, looks like a Wayne Madsen report:

DeConcini incurred the ire of the CIA because he discovered how deeply the agency was involved in the smuggling of drugs into the United States, particularly during the Iran-contra scandal.

The major drug routes from Central America, primarily Panama, to the United States saw CIA contract flights operated by such proprietary firms as Southern Air Transport and Evergreen Aviation fly fully-loaded planes with weapons and ammunition for the Nicaraguan contras from the United States, air drop them over contra bases in Central America, land in Panama and load up with narcotics supplied by Colombia’s Medellin cartel, fly through pre-approved air routes on the U.S.-Mexican border, and air drop the drugs on designated cattle ranches in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The Evergreen flights, according to WMR’s FBI sources, were based out of the firm’s facility at Pinal Air Park in Marana, Arizona. Southern Air Transport flights were based out of Mena, Arkansas and other airfields in the Florida panhandle, Alabama, and Louisiana.

Once the drugs from the Medellin cartel were dropped on the cattle ranches, they would be loaded on trailer trucks and hauled to distribution points around the United States. Our FBI sources stated that the smuggling and distribution was aided and abetted by some of the wealthiest cattle ranchers and trucking industry executives in the United States, all of whom were large political contributors to the Republican Party and the Bush family.

…WMR’s FBI sources also confirmed that the senior CIA officer officially vested with the job of countering the international narcotics trade was actively involved in promoting the CIA’s own drug smuggling operations. The individual also served in the Treasury Department where he ensured that the surveillance of suspicious money flows by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN) were scrubbed of any information that would point to the CIA’s involvement in drug money laundering.

…The jailed whistleblower also alleged that the CIA’s drug trade continues to flourish and that it involves Latin American Jews, Mossad agents and fabric and window covering warehouses in Florida, Georgia, and Texas that are used to store drugs from Latin America prior to distribution.

…WMR has learned from a Delta Force veteran that when units of the elite military force were sent into Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks, their first order from the CIA was to protect Afghan poppy fields. WMR’s FBI sources confirmed that Afghanistan has replaced Khun Sa’s poppy production operations in Burma’s “Golden Triangle” as the main source of opium and heroin for the CIA’s narcotics trade.

Something to keep in mind as we hear about project “together” in Marjah, Afghanistan.

1. Sahara becomes desert of terrorism. CIA supported terrorism. also notice however, the illusion that  France and the EU are presented as “opposite” to the US by the expert. the “good” West vs the “bad” West. haha! sorry the same people own all of The West.

Senegal’s president Abdoulaye Wade urged African leaders and the West to join forces in the fight against al-Qaeda’s North African branch, saying it has to be done to prevent the Sahara from becoming a “terrorism desert.” Abdoulaye Wade’s appeal came as African Union heads of state gathered to tackle the continent’s crises and conflicts at the bloc’s summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.Wade was supported by his colleagues from other African countries. They were united in their opinion that African counties could not fight al-Qaeda on their own. Wade said it was an “international issue.”

Americans spent over 0.5 billion dollars for the anti-terrorism struggle. Yet, the situation has only worsened with the increased number of terrorist attacks.

The situation has particularly worsened in the past two years. These years were marked both with the increased frequency of attacks as well as their impudence, i.e., police station attacks and embassy shootings. The leaders of the Maghreb Muslims appeal for jihad against ruling governments of North African countries. All this attests to the fact that the officials cannot properly control the situation even in their own capitals.

Last year, media released alarming information stating that the Islamist group was developing biological weapons, and in particular, was experimenting with plague agents. The war on terror affects the well-being of local residents increasingly more each year. According to experts, the struggle with al-Qaeda caused rise in basic consumer goods prices in Algeria, including potatoes prices.

…In other words, the participants of the Pan African summit had good reasons to be alarmed. On the other hand, as mentioned above, so far the US military aid has not yielded positive results in the struggle against several hundred militants. Under the circumstances, the opinion of an Algerian expert Jamal Gessel shared with Pravda.ru was quite surprising.

He said that there was very reliable information suggesting that the Islamist group was supported by CIA. Analysts of the French and Algerian Special forces (e.g., DGSE, France) are convinced that this is done to destabilized the situation in North African countries rich in natural resources (both oil and uranium). The other goal is to force French and Spanish oil-extracting competitors out of the area. The expert believes this is precisely why the Islamist group’s attacks are aimed against the French and Spanish, and why the American presence in the region is not effective.

Additionally, the expert does not rule out the situation when the US declares the region its strategic zone, like it happened in the Persian Gulf, and instills its hegemony in the area. The conclusion is the following: the hopes of North African countries to receive aid from the West greatly depend on what they mean by “West”, the USA or EU.

2. despite problems with al qaeda, not to worry! Algeria is connected: looking to cooperate with South Africa on nuclear technology. oh hey Algeria signed the NPT, so no problem. um, didn’t Iran sign that thing too? yes. but that’s different.

Algeria has shown a keen interest in South Africa’s pebble bed technology, South Africa’s Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) company said on Monday.

CEO Jaco Kriek said in a statement that Algeria’s interest in PBMR technology “opens a real opportunity for two African countries to co-operate on nuclear.” The statement said a high-level delegation under the leadership of Mohamed Derdour, chairman of the Algerian Atomic Energy Commission (Comena), was in South Africa. “Algeria is, amongst others, exploring the possibility of building nuclear reactors the size of PBMR near inland villages to provide electricity and desalination,” Kriek said.

According to Comena, Algeria was seriously pursuing nuclear technology as a means to diversify its energy sources and as a vehicle to reduce its dependency on a hydrocarbons economy….Derdour pointed out that Algeria, like South Africa, had signed the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. “Algeria has atomic energy agreements with Argentina, China, France and the United States. “We also have two research reactors, which were built by Argentina and China respectively”. Kriek said South Africa had a long relationship with Algeria, including the signing in 2003 of a memorandum of understanding on co-operation in the field of nuclear and radiation sciences between Comena and South Africa’s department of science and technology.

3. Egypt recalls ambassador from Algeria for “consultations” after some sports fans get rowdy

CAIRO (AFP) – Egypt recalled its ambassador in Algeria for consultations on Thursday after attacks against Egyptian football fans in Sudan and businesses in Algiers, the foreign ministry said on Thursday. An Egyptian foreign ministry official confirmed to AFP that the ambassador was recalled for “consultations”. Earlier in the day, Egypt summoned the Algerian ambassador in Cairo to protest against the disturbances.

The foreign ministry said that it informed the ambassador of “Egypt’s extreme displeasure with the assaults on Egyptian citizens who went to Khartoum to support the Egyptian team.”

It was the second summons in a week for ambassador Abdel Qader Haggar, who was called to the foreign ministry last week after Algerian fans attacked Egyptian businesses and homes in Algiers.

4. Nigeria finally transfers power to Goodluck Jonathan

NIGERIA’S parliament empowered vice- president Goodluck Jonathan to run Africa’s most populous nation in place of an ill and absent president. It is hoped the move will provide a political end to a crisis that has ground the government to a virtual halt and triggered the resumption of an insurgency in the vital oil sector. But the move is not contemplated in the constitution, legal experts say, and could cause more friction between the Christian south, which gains the presidency at least temporarily, and Muslim north, which finds itself out of the seat of power.

5. NEXT: we told you so

This newspaper took the bold step of publishing a daring story on January 10 that President Umaru Yar’Adua is brain damaged and will not return to office. Titled,”Yar’Adua is brain-damaged”, the story detailed how some people that surround Mr. Yar’Adua were preventing others including the vice president from having access to the president.

“President Umaru Yar’Adua is seriously brain damaged, is not able to recognise anyone… and can no longer perform the functions of the office of the president, according to multiple sources who have spoken to NEXT on Sunday,” the story declares.

While we double checked and confirmed our sources over and over, some newspapers went to town that our story was not true. Indeed there were stories that we spun a tale that cannot be substantiated. Amazingly, while these media houses buried their heads in the sand, NEXT stood up to be counted among the worthy elements of our society, and despite the furious denial even from some people in government, the story could not be counteracted.

Curiously, some folks in government were asking NEXT editors for what was going on with Mr. Yar’Adua showing the level of secrecy concerning his health.

Subsequently, a man claiming to be Mr. Yar’Adua granted an interview to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on January 13 on the eve of a planned protest by eminent Nigerians like Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka and Tunde Bakare, the pastor of Latter Rain Assembly under the aegis of Save Nigeria Group.

Thereafter, seeing that the game was up, others now shifted gear, and joined the train of those asking that the Constitution be upheld. We are happy we started this.

6. MEND rebels watching the ‘drama’ unfold..will they continue to warn the oil company personnel to get out of the way so they can “attack?” do they still need to attack? maybe not. we’ll have to wait and see what this Goodluck Jonathan fellow has in mind for divvying up Nigeria’s oil resources.

LAGOS, Feb 10 (Reuters) - The main militant group in Nigeria’s oil-producing Niger Delta said on Wednesday it was monitoring developments after Vice President Goodluck Jonathan assumed presidential powers, but declined to comment further.

“We are monitoring the unfolding drama and will react at the appropriate time,” the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) said in an email to Reuters. The group last month said it was ending a unilateral ceasefire and threatened renewed attacks on Africa’s biggest oil and gas industry amid delays to an amnesty programme caused partly by the absence of President Umaru Yar’Adua.

7. polluted water in Niger Delta — home of OIL COMPANIES — the cause of estimated 60% of deaths and 90% of disease in local communities. yes they can get oil out of a swamp but they can’t deliver clean water to poor people who insist on being IN THE WAY of their amazing oil production feats of engineering

Lack of access to safe water is a major source of poor health for millions of residents of Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, a NEXT investigation has shown. Majority of the citizens of the area affirm one of their most critical needs is safe drinking water.

Public health officials say water accounts for an estimated 80 per cent of all diseases and one-third of all deaths in the developing world. In the Niger Delta area, where the natural water sources have been polluted by oil production activities, they estimate that water could account for over 60 per cent of all deaths in the oil communities, and some 90 per cent of all diseases there.

Although the oil region is largely riverine, oil production activities appeared to have polluted the region’s natural water sources, making them increasingly unsafe for human consumption.

8. Al Jazeera floats video of police killing unarmed civilians, from seven months ago. picked up widely. kind of confusing — if you don’t pay close attention you might think this is happening now.

google results show major coverage

Aster Van Kregten, a Nigeria expert with rights group Amnesty International, told Al Jazeera that the group’s research suggested extra-judicial killings were widespread in Nigeria.

“Our research shows that the Nigerian police are getting away with murder, they killed hundreds of people a year without any investigation - any investigation on whether the use of force was lawful or not,” she said.
“What we saw on the footage happened seven month ago and we haven’t heard anything from the government whether they have arrested anyone and how far the investigation is going.”

Among those killed in the aftermath of the clashes between Boko Haram and the police, was Boko Haram leader Mohammed Yusuf.

terrorist activity news: some narratives progress, others trail off

Narrative progresses in Southeast Asia, West Africa, Pakistan: drug trafficking, Abu Sayyaf, JI, al qaeda, attacks on Westerners…

1. JI terrorist Dulmatin resurfaces on Jolo, Philippines - Abu Sayyaf — same area that US forces use wo/oversight

MANILA - AN ISLAMIST militant accused of being behind the deadly 2002 Bali bombings is alive and hiding in the southern Philippines despite earlier reports of his death, a senior military official said on Tuesday.

Dulmatin, leader of the regional militant group Jemaah Islamiyah (JI), was not killed in a clash in 2008 as the military initially believed, said Major General Juancho Sabban, the head of the Philippine Marines.

‘I believe, from what my sources say, he is still in Sulu,’ Maj. Gen. Sabban told reporters, referring to the southern chain of islands in the south including Jolo, a hotbed of Islamist militants.

He also said that another JI militant, Umar Patek, is also believed to be hiding in the Sulu islands and is being sheltered by the Abu Sayyaf, a local Muslim extremist group linked by intelligence agencies to the Al-Qaeda network.

Dulmatin, accused of helping the JI plan and carry out the Bali bombings that killed 202 people in the Indonesian resort island, was initially believed to have been killed by the military in the southern Philippines in January 2008. However DNA tests of the body of the slain man raised doubts that it was Dulmatin.

Patek and Dulmatin, who like many Indonesians goes by one name, have been hiding out in the Philippine jungle with the Abu Sayyaf group since 2003, intelligence officials have said. The US State Department has offered a reward of US$10 million (S$14 million) for information leading to the arrest of Dulmatin, and $1 million for Patek. — AFP

2. 2 Malaysians abducted in Borneo, affirming warning given by US authorities last month

KOTA KINABALU (Malaysia) - MALAYSIAN police said on Monday that two men have been abducted by gunmen near a Borneo town which the United States warned last month was being targeted by criminal and terrorist groups.

Noor Rashid Ibrahim, police chief in Sabah state, said the maritime border with the Philippines, which lies to the north of Borneo, had been sealed off to prevent the gunmen from escaping.

He said that the two abducted men, Malaysians working at a seaweed farm near the fishing town of Semporna were seized in the early hours of Monday by five men armed with two rifles. ‘Based on police investigation, the group is believed to be comprised of foreigners and locals out to commit robbery,’ he told reporters.

Mr Noor Rashid declined to say which country they came from, and also sidestepped questions over whether they were from the Abu Sayyaf militant group which is active in the southern Philippines.

The US embassy in Kuala Lumpur had warned that there were indications of strikes being planned in isolated areas of eastern Sabah state, including the diving resort of Sipadan as well as the destinations of Semporna and Mabul.

Mr Noor Rashid said that the two kidnapped men were a 40-year-old manager and a 25-year-old farm supervisor. He said their abductors arrived in a narrow-hulled boat and were believed to still be in Malaysian waters. — AFP

3. Malians face cocaine charges in the US: drug trafficking, FARC, al qaeda, Europe, West Africa

Three men have been charged with plotting to transport tons of cocaine across Africa with the help of Al Qaeda. The three defendants all of them from Mali, were arrested in Ghana on Wednesday and flown to the United States on Thursday night. The men said that they were helping some people set up a trafficking network to move what they thought was FARC’s cocaine from Ghana to the deserts of North Africa to Spain.

The 3 whose names were given as Oumar Issa, Harouna Touré and Idriss Abelrahman, were charged with conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism and conspiracy to provide material support to terrorist groups: Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and the FARC.

According to the charges, the men were alleged to be members of a criminal organization operating in the West African countries of Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Mali and that they worked with Al Qaeda groups in the region which ultimately promised to provide security for the North African leg of the journey. According to the New York Times, the three men were charged under statutes passed in 2006 that gave federal drug agents the authority to pursue narcotics and terrorism crimes committed anywhere in the world if a link between a drug offense and a specified act of terrorism or terrorist group could be established.

4. Plot foiled to bomb Americans in Pakistan hotel — police get testy with reporters

LAHORE—Pakistan police claimed Monday to have arrested six suspects, including a would-be suicide bomber, who were plotting to attack a five-star hotel and kill Americans. Police recovered an explosive-laden suicide vest fitted with 26 hand grenades during the operation in Lahore, the country’s second-biggest city, senior police superintendent Zulfikar Hameed told a news conference.

Police in Pakistan, which is under huge US pressure to do more to root out Islamist militants, routinely claim to foil high-profile attacks, most often in Karachi, but rarely release any details of the alleged plots. It is not possible to confirm the alleged plots independently.

The six suspects were paraded at the news conference wearing black masks to hide their identity….

Police also recovered four kilograms (nine pounds) of hashish, he added.

But officers angrily called a swift end to the news conference after a television reporter snatched away a hood, unmasking one of the suspects.

“If you behave like this we will not invite media in the future,” one police inspector said.

5. India: asks officers to please not speak to reporters there are too many leaks!

CBI officials are not allowed to interact with the media under their service rules. Only the CBI director and the chief PRO is allowed to interact with reporters and share details of stories. Journalists are not allowed to carry mobile phones, camera, laptop and other electronic gadgets inside the CBI headquarters at the CGO complex in New Delhi.

A new circular issued by the top brass of the agency has asked the officers to refrain from speaking to the media.

The agency sleuths are anyway not supposed to talk to the press under the service rules laid down for them, so why the circular?”The directions are against any particular group of mediapersons or individuals. It is only meant to alert the officials from some fake journalists who can misuse the information imparted to them,” explained an official spokesperson for the top investigating agency.

CBI sources told MiD DAY that though no such journalist has been encountered by the agency, so far but the circular seems a clear effort to “safeguard the secrets better.” While contents of the circular, issued last week, is being guarded as a much-valued secret, sources said it is “very clear and categorical in nature.”

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, highly-placed officials in the CBI headquarters told the agency has already been under fire from various quarters for cases under its investigation, the word of caution would help the agency to stem bad publicity. They also pointed out that the notice is “actually about mediapersons who could be trying to do sting operations on cases being investigated by the CBI.”

“Recently, the agency came under public scrutiny after news reports related to Sant Singh Chatwal. Though public enjoy such investigative stories but sometimes the repercussions are very hard on the CBI officials related to that particular case. It is assumed that the story leaked from their end,” said a senior CBI official, requesting anonymity.

Sant Singh Chatwal whose name appeared in the latest list of Padma awardees was later discovered as a multiple offender who has been under CBI scanner for cases of fraud against him. Earlier the CBI had earned public ire for its probe into cases against Bofors kickbacks accused Ottavio Quattrocchi. “Of late the department became a subject of ridicule on issues like Bofors, Nithari, kidney transplant racket, Arushi double murder case and Ruchika Girhotra molestation case. It is assumed that officers connected to the cases leak information to the media and hence the notice,” the officer said.

Narrative limps along slowly in Mexico shooting cases: drug trafficking, gunmen escape and reportedly go on to kill others, arrests of a few people around the edges. evidently some people are supposed to get away with murder.

1. a suspected lookout arrested in attack that killed 15 youth in Ciudad Juarez

Reporting from Mexico City — Authorities in the border city of Ciudad Juarez said on Tuesday night that they had arrested a man suspected of taking part in a shooting attack on a high-school party that killed at least 15 people early Sunday.

Officials summoned reporters to see the suspect, who said in their presence that the main Juarez-based drug cartel targeted the party because it had received reports that members of a rival trafficking group were in attendance.

The suspect, identified as Jose Dolores Arroyo Chavarria, said he acted as a lookout for the 24 or so gunmen he said took part. He said they were ordered to kill everyone inside.

Authorities said they arrested the suspect Monday afternoon after army troops interrupted the planned assassination of a drug rival. Killed during that gunfight was one of the men who allegedly supervised the assault on the party, in which dozens of young people packed a private home.

Officials said some of the same gunmen are believed to be responsible for the killings of four people Monday at a dance hall.

Authorities in the state of Chihuahua on Tuesday gave the number of dead as 15, though a day earlier they had said 16 died, a figure corroborated by local news reports.

Parents of the slain teens have denied that their children were involved in criminal activity.

2. another arrest in the same case

Police have made a second arrest in connection with last weekend’s party massacre which left 15 people dead in the Colonia Salvarcar of Cuidad Juarez. Witnesses at the site of the massacre said they believed one of the “lookouts” for the group of armed men was driving a Jeep Cherokee.

Police said the witnesses gave police a description of the jeep and the license plate number. Police stopped the Jeep Cherokee and arrested the driver, Israel Arzate Melendez, who later confessed to taking part in the massacre. Juarez police say they now know the names of three other suspects.

Al Dia, Costa Rica newspaper, has reported that the Mexican newspaper, Diario Reforma, suggests that Jose Jorge Balderas (aka.
