Puello arrested, but will he finger the ring?

Great find over at Penny’s via Maggie that police in the Dominican Republic arrested Puello. Penny also notes that Silsby was caught trying to smuggle *other* children before the children that caused her to be arrested.

Most importantly:

“According to documents of the US and Dominican authorities… this person is an important part of a network of alien smugglers (targeting) women and children from Central America and the Caribbean,” added Lebron. (source)

He is “an important part of a network” means he works in a human trafficking ring smuggling women and children from Central America and the Caribbean.

Who runs organized crime?

Now to see how much of that ring we might learn about as a result of his arrest.

Regarding the charges in Vermont, from the Salt Lake Tribune (Some Mormons would be interested in this no doubt…):

Authorities also have an outstanding warrant for his arrest on an alleged U.S. parole violation following a 2003 federal indictment out of Vermont accusing him of smuggling illegal migrants from Canada into the United States.

Puello was living in Canada at the time and said he was working undercover for U.S. authorities.

Okaaay. He was also running operations from Canada into the US. Maybe even officially “on the payroll” at the same time.

Funny that they decided to “find him” now. Did something need to be resolved first? Some evidence taken care of or something? He was detained by request of the US leaving a McDonald’s restaurant. That indicates he had been moving around freely in the Dominican Republic, a small country. But now it’s time to bring him in. Why now?

And funny that his MOM is going to represent him in court and believes the entire community will come out to support him. (source)

Is she talking about the Sephardic community in the Dominican Republic? Chabad? If they’re so supportive, can’t they provide him with an actual attorney so he doesn’t have to rely on his mother?

A judge has 30 days to meet with Puello, Dominican authorities, and an attorney representing the U.S. government before deciding whether to honor the government’s extradition request, he said.

Puello is wanted in the U.S. state of Vermont and in Canada for smuggling illegal immigrants, and in the U.S. city of Philadelphia for probation violations related to fraud charges, said a statement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

He is wanted in El Salvador for crimes against children; sexual exploitation of minors for pornography and prostitution; organized crime; and human trafficking, ICE said. Interpol issued an arrest warrant for Puello at El Salvador’s request.

Puello has denied all of the allegations. His mother, Soledad Puello, secretary of internal affairs for the National Party of Veterans and Civilians, told The Associated Press on Friday that she will represent him in court.

“In the Dominican Republic … the entire community will come out to defend him,” she said. Soledad Puello had told the AP on Thursday that she and others were negotiating with Salvadoran prosecutors for her son to turn himself in.

I don’t know about counting on the Sephardic community coming out to defend him. I’m thinking, no. I’m thinking they will continue to deny knowing him.

From Failed Messiah on February 15th:

He falsely portrayed himself as a lawyer in the Dominican Republic. He wrongly claimed to be the leader of the country’s Sephardic Jewish community. And he initially told reporters he had never been to El Salvador, but now says he has deep connections to the Central American country, including five children there.

Later, Ana Puello married Franco Cerminara, a businessman from Italy, and they moved to South Florida. “That’s when Jorge began to go wrong,” said Cerminara, now retired.

The couple showed a photo of a young Jorge in a starched white military academy uniform in the Dominican Republic. But as a 15-year-old in Miami, they said, he began dating a stripper, who was a single mother and 10 years older than him. He soon left home for Philadelphia, where Cerminara said he was convicted of bank fraud and later moved to Puerto Rico to work as a hotel receptionist.

At some point, he apparently served in the U.S. military. A family photo shows him in fatigues standing next to two Army trucks. Puello said he served in the Army from 1996-2000 but gave no further details.

About four years ago, he emerged in Santo Domingo saying he wanted to establish a Sephardic Jewish community. Cerminara and Ana Puello said everyone in their family is Catholic and that Jorge Puello’s converted on his own. “He is Jewish by conviction,” she said. “He practices the religion and believes it in his heart.”

The Dominican Republic is home to about 50 Jewish families, a tightly knit and low-key community that includes Sephardim and Ashkenazim, and some had doubts about the new arrival, said Isaac Lalo, secretary of the Centro Israelita de Republica Dominicana, the main synagogue.
Jorge Puello began identifying himself as the “newly elected president of the Jewish Communities of Dominican Republic” in a Jewish newsletter and elsewhere even though he was never elected to any such role and had no congregation.
“This guy has nothing to do with our community,” Lalo said. “Sephardic Jews don’t just set up a community out of the blue.”

So here’s what we now know:

1. Puello was known by the tiny Dominican Jewish community for approximately four years.
2. He was not denounced by that Jewish community until after news of his criminal background surfaced last week.
3. While questions remain about who converted him or if he was converted at all, there is no record of any part of the Jewish community denouncing him or questioning his Judaism until after his criminal record was made public last week.
4. Chabad’s claim that they did not know Puello and had never heard of him are simply not believable in a community as small as the Dominican Jewish community. And a source points out Puello at one point prayed regularly at Chabad.
5. Puello’s claims of being the head of the Sefardic Community of the Dominican Republic were known for some time by the Jewish community. There is no record of any denunciation of those claims until after Puello’s criminal history surfaced last week.

Video from aangirfan:

Who led him into problems? Must be those other people in the ring. Damn them.
.
Who are the other people in the ring???

Well, you can always read my little series on the curious case of Moshe Saba’s helicopter crash and ZAKA rushing to Haiti right afterwards for some background on related trafficking issues, starting here.

And you can read about organized crime in the TBA (South America), starting here.

That’s just for starters.

1. France: drug money laundering linked to sports teams

A vast drug and money-laundering operation run by British gangsters which may have links to Premier League football transfers has been smashed by police in France’s Dordogne region.

Officers from both sides of the Channel raided a number of upmarket homes in two isolated villages favoured by British expatriates.

There they found drugs and thousands of pounds worth of used notes, along with luxury cars including Aston Martin DB9s and Mercedes SLKs.

There have been at least four arrests in connection with the enquiry, all of British nationals who claimed to have moved to France ‘for the good life’, said an investigating officer.

1. Israel lies about killing Palestinians

Doctors who treated two Palestinian youths shot dead by Israeli troops in the West Bank have refuted the army’s claim that they had used rubber bullets and said the medical evidence showed that live ammunition had been fired.

The shooting of Mohammed and Osaid Qadus, both teenagers, in the village of Iraq Burin was followed yesterday by the deaths of another two youths shot by Israeli forces. The renewed violence came as it was confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet President Barack Obama in Washington tomorrow amid continued US efforts to relaunch indirect negotiations between the two sides in the conflict.

…The two Palestinians who died yesterday – said to be in their late teens – were from Awarta near Nablus and were on village farmland overlooked by the Jewish settlement of Itamar. Villagers said they assumed the pair were working the land. The Israeli military said they had tried to stab a soldier.

The Israeli military said on Saturday that it had opened an investigation into the shootings but also insisted that soldiers had responded with tear gas and rubber bullets to a “violent and illegal riot” and added: “Live fire was not used.”

But a hospital X-ray released by the Israeli human rights agency Btselem and also shown to The Independent by doctors at Nablus’s private Speciality hospital show what appears to be a conventional metal bullet lodged in the brain of Osaid Qadus, who died there of his injuries at about 3am yesterday.

Dr Ahmad Hamad, the duty resident in the hospital’s accident and emergency department when the boys were brought in, said Mohammed Qadus had suffered a single shot in the chest. He said there was a small entry wound and a larger exit wound in his back.

Another doctor, Abdul Karim Hashesh, was on duty when the bodies of the youths shot yesterday arrived at Nablus’s Rafidia Hospital. He said that one, Mohammed Kuarik was hit by a total of seven bullets while the other, Saleh Kuaraik, was hit by at least three. Young Palestinians burned tyres and set up roadblocks of rocks across one of the main roads into Awarta in protest at the shootings yesterday afternoon.

2. tension may hasten attack on Iran. is that the point of the tension? to JUSTIFY hastening the attack on Iran?

WASHINGTON - A pro-Israel conference opening Sunday exposed fears that a row over illegal Jewish settlements built on Palestinian territories had left scars in US-Israeli ties but raised the risk of Israeli strikes against Iran.

Hardline Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — while he visits Washington this week for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) three-day annual policy conference — is now to meet President Barack Obama Tuesday….”I think that the impact of this crisis is to hasten Iranian efforts to achieve a nuclear weapons capability,” Satloff warned.

“And ultimately, because there are scars now in the US-Israeli strategic relationship,” the impact may be “even to hasten the clock on Israeli preventive action against that Iranian nuclear capability,” he said.

3. Syria to help with security in Lebanon refugee camps — “The West” warns of an outburst of violence in the camps & “demand” Syria’s involvement? seems suspicious to me.

Syria was reportedly set to make a comeback to Lebanon in its new role to help rein in the security situation across Palestinian refugee camps throughout the country.

The daily Al-Akhbar, which carried the report, said Syria, Lebanon as well as some Palestinian figures have received several messages from the West warning against the outburst of violence in refugee camps in Lebanon.

The letters, according to the daily, have demanded that Syria help contain the situation in Lebanon refugee camps.

Damascus expressed readiness to meet the West’s demand, but requested an amendment to the structure of Lebanon’s security in order to make security institutions “cooperative and responsive” to the Syrian leadership.

4. Naval Intelligence alert on al-qaeda attack in Red Sea similar to USS Cole, which might be linked to Iran? Hmm? What do you think?

DUBAI - THE US government has warned ships sailing off Yemen’s coast of the risk of al-Qaeda attacks similar to a suicide bombing of the US warship Cole in 2000 that killed 17 US sailors.

The US Office of Naval Intelligence said on its website that ships in the Red Sea, the strategic Bab al-Mandab strait between Yemen and Djibouti, and the Gulf of Aden along Yemen’s coast were at the greatest risk.

‘Information suggests that al-Qaeda remains interested in maritime attacks in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, Red Sea, and the Gulf of Aden along the coast of Yemen,’ the office said in a statement, citing an advisory by the US Department of Transportation. ‘Although it is unclear how they would proceed, it may be similar in nature to the attacks against the USS Cole in October 2000 and the M/V Limburg in October 2002 where a small to mid-size boat laden with explosives was detonated.’

Yemen, at the forefront of Western security concerns since a failed December attack on a US-bound plane, boosted security on its coast earlier this year to prevent militants reaching its shores from nearby Somalia to reinforce al-Qaeda in Yemen. Al-Qaeda’s Yemen-based arm claimed responsibility for the failed December plane attempt. Western allies and neighbouring oil exporter Saudi Arabia fear al-Qaeda is exploiting instability on several fronts in impoverished Yemen to recruit and train militants for attacks in the region and beyond.

The Transportation Department statement said more sophisticated methods of attack by al-Qaeda in the waters near Yemen could include missiles or projectiles. The US advisory, dated March 10, said more sophisticated methods of attack by al-Qaeda in the waters near Yemen could include missiles or projectiles.

‘Although the time and location of such an attack are unknown, ships in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden along the coast of Yemen are at the greatest risk of becoming targets of such an attack,’ the statement added. ‘All vessels transiting the waters in the vicinity of Yemen are urged to operate at a heightened state of readiness.’ — REUTERS

5. meanwhile, India is supposedly really upset about Headley’s deal, but the Indian papers don’t have much to say about it, which isn’t that surprising, seeing as the Indian government is real tight with the Israelis, and Mossad and the CIA and RAW all work together. where is this “UPROAR” he’s talking about? the *families* get screwed, but don’t the families always get screwed? the links to US intelligence are now protected, but so are the links to RAW and Mossad. convenient all around, except for the families of the innocent people murdered by CORRUPT INTELLIGENCE OPERATIVES.

News that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had reached a plea bargain with David Coleman Headley, who played a key role in the planning of the terrorist strike in Mumbai in November 2008 in which 166 people were killed, has caused an uproar in India.

The deal enables the US government to hold back from formally producing any evidence against Headley in a court of law that might have included details of his links with US intelligence or oblige any cross-examination of Headley by the prosecution.

Nor can the families of the 166 victims be represented by a lawyer to question Headley during his trial commencing in Chicago. Headley’s links with the US intelligence will now remain classified information and the Pakistani nationals involved in the Mumbai attacks will get away scot-free. Furthermore, the FBI will not allow Headley’s extradition to India and will restrict access so that Indian agencies cannot interrogate him regarding his links with US and Pakistani intelligence.

…The plea bargain raises explosive questions. The LeT began planning the attack on Mumbai sometime around September 2006. According to the plea bargain, Headley paid five visits to India on reconnaissance missions between 2006 and the November 2008 strike, each time returning to the US via Pakistan where he met “with various co-conspirators, including but not limited to members of LeT”.

The plea bargain simply refers to the Pakistani handlers of Headley as A, B, C and D. But who are they? We will never know.
The LeT’s close links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) are legion and it is inconceivable that such a massive operation - with huge international ramifications and the potential to trigger war with India - could have been undertaken without the knowledge of the ISI, headed by General Ashfaq Parvez Kiani, the present army chief, from October 2004 until October 2007.

Instead of actually apologizing this past weekend, AGAIN (sheesh!), the pope helpfully reminded Christians to forgive. You know, please, please…. let’s be reasonable.

Campaigners had hoped that after his seven page letter on Saturday to Irish victims of child abusing priests in which he said he was “truly sorry” the Pope would use his weekly sermon to apologise in public. But he failed to do so and instead he asked Roman Catholics around the world to be “indulgent towards sinners and pray to God to ask for forgiveness for our failings. “He used as an example the Bible parable from John’s Gospel in which Christ asks people about to stone an adulteress: “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

“Our” failings.

Dear Pope,
With all due respect, that’s not gonna fly.
We all may be sinners, but we all ain’t pedophiles.
Kiss kiss hug hug,
Catholics

Maybe the pope forgot that Jesus also said,

But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck, and to come to his end in the deep sea.

Speaking of the deep sea, as I wrote the other day, the blood is in the water this time.

Archbishop Robert Zollitsch of Freiburg said that while most cases happened outside the church, “assaults that took place in such numbers within our institutions shame and frighten me.”
But a counterpart of Archbishop Zollitsch, Bishop Gerhard Mueller of Regensburg, instead accused the media of carrying out a campaign against the Catholic Church which was “comparable to that done by the Nazis.”

In comments published on the diocese website Bishop Mueller added: “Today from many parts of the media we see an attack on the credibility of the Catholic Church. This is carried out by the use of adapted facts and constant repetition of past events which would seem to imply that the Church is a nest of of corrupt people.”

Well, what if it is? Not the congregations, and maybe not most of the priests, but who can deny that there’s an extremely serious problem with the church hierarchy? At some point, even the most ardent Catholic has to get real.

^^^^^^^

The abuse allegations being revealed reflect something far beyond sexual dysfunction. Christian Brothers competing to see who can be first to rape a boy 100 times and hanging him over a well to threaten him into silence is not a case of a couple of guys suffering from a little sexual dysfunction or moral confusion. It’s a group of men in the full-blown grip of evil acting with impunity under cover of the church.

How did such a thing come to pass?

^^^^^^^

At some point the Kabbalah got worked into Christianity. I think i found the point it started, though of course I could be wrong.

First off, you may be familiar with this image, the “Sephiroth Tree of Life.”

Interestingly, if you do a search on “Sephiroth,” you get this result.

I knew ever since I was a child, I was not like the others. I knew mine was a special existence.
- Sephiroth, fantasy character and ultimate villain in Final Fantasy VII, part of the Final Fantasy game series

About the Sephiroth:

THE Tree of the Sephiroth may be considered an invaluable compendium of the secret philosophy which originally was the spirit and soul of Chasidism. The Qabbalah is the priceless heritage of Israel, but each year those who comprehend its true principles become fewer in number. The Jew of today, if he lacks a realization of the profundity of his people’s doctrines, is usually permeated with that most dangerous form of ignorance, modernism, and is prone to regard the Qabbalah either as an evil to be shunned like the plague or as a ridiculous superstition which has survived the black magic of the Dark Ages. Yet without the key which the Qabbalah supplies, the spiritual mysteries of both the Old and the New Testament must remain unsolved by Jew and Gentile alike.

That’s so funny, see, because the New Testament is really, really simple. Jesus even condensed it for people. He said the WHOLE SHEBANG can be summed up by: love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. See? So simples. No spiritual mystery whatsoever.

In Marked Contrast:

The Sephirothic Tree consists of ten globes of luminous splendor arranged in three vertical columns and connected by 22 channels or paths….  The 22 channels are the letters of the Hebrew alphabet and to them are assigned the major trumps of the Tarot deck of symbolic cards.

Eliphas Levi declared that by arranging the Tarot cards according to a definite order man could discover all that is knowable concerning his God, his universe, and himself. When the ten numbers which pertain to the globes (Sephiroth) are combined with the 22 letters relating to the channels, the resultant sum is 32–the number peculiar to the Qabbalistic Paths of Wisdom. These Paths, occasionally referred to as the 32 teeth in the mouth of the Vast Countenance or as the 32 nerves that branch out from the Divine Brain, are analogous to the first 32 degrees of Freemasonry, which elevate the candidate to the dignity of a Prince of the Royal Secret. Qabbalists also consider it extremely significant that in the original Hebrew Scriptures the name of God should occur 32 times in the first chapter of Genesis. (In the English translations of the Bible the name appears 33 times.) In the mystic analysis of the human body, according to the Rabbins, 32 spinal segments lead upward to the Temple of Wisdom–the skull.

Oh, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah. Blablitty blah.

NONE of this has ANYTHING to do with CHRISTIANITY. As a matter of fact, I am familiar with another mystical text, the Secret Book of John, which gives a different explanation entirely for the source of these mysterious secrets governing the physical world, if one really needs to know these things, one ought to look it ALL up and not just the parts from the Kabbalah that one considers “extra” mystical because it’s Jewish.

Something imperfect came out of her Different in appearance from her.

Because she had created it without her masculine counterpart
She gave rise to a misshapen being unlike herself.

Sophia saw what her desire produced.
It changed into the form of a dragon with a lion’s head
And eyes flashing lightning bolts.
She cast him far from her,
Outside of the realm of the immortal beings
So that they could not see him.

…Yaldabaoth modeled his creation
On the pattern of the original realms above him
So that it might be just like the indestructible realms.

[Not that he had ever seen the indestructible ones.
Rather, the power in him, deriving from his mother,
made him aware of the pattern of the cosmos above.]

When he gazed upon his creation surrounding him
He said to his host of demons
The ones who had come forth out of him:

“I am a jealous God and there is no God but me!”

[But by doing this he admitted to his demons that there is indeed another God.
For, if there were no other God, whom would he possibly be jealous of?]

Oh heEY! The god of the Old Testament, the god of the Jews. And look, turns out he is a MISTAKE. That’s what the Secret Book of John says, right there.

Again, Christianity has NOTHING to do with the Kabbalah. It really doesn’t. Jesus chose the equivalent of guys from the local pub to be his apostles. Not for nothing. His teachings are not complicated, they’re just hard for selfish people to follow.

^^^^^^^

Anyway, I digress. Evidently there was this one guy, Ramon Lull (Raymond Lully) 1232-1315, from SPAIN, and he decided that the best way to convert the Jews was to learn the Kabbalah and use it to convert Jews to Christianity.

What could possibly go wrong?

How about the “Christian Kabbalah?”

It was a period of intellectual turmoil that Llull started his missionary work to convert the infidel to Christianity. Llull, perhaps because of his unique circumstances of education, was able, unlike most of his contemporaries, to harness some of these ideas in his mystical philosophical exposition of the Christian faith – or the art Llull understood that– in order to convince the Jews and the Muslims to convert, the Christian doctrines had to be proven beyond a doubt.

So the answer, apparently, was to debase Christianity with the Kabbalah, to “conform” it to something acceptable to the Jews. Which didn’t work anyway, but neither did Christianity go back to the way it was before blending with these occult ideas. So it was a lose-lose, or maybe from the Jewish perspective, a win-win!

And another one who blended Kabbalah with Christianity was Abraham Abulafia (ca. 1240-1291), a self-proclaimed Messiah and founder of the school of ecstatic Kabbalah.

That there were contacts between the intellectuals of the three monotheistic faiths in the later Middle Ages is well documented. Christian scholars worked together with Jews and Muslims translating works from Arabic to Latin, sometimes also via Hebrew….However, Abulafia’s interaction with his Christian contemporaries was of a totally different nature. He adopted and adapted current Christian apocalyptic ideas, translated them into his own religious, historical, and moralistic world-view, and then repackaged them and tried to sell them back to his Jewish and Christian contemporaries….The focal point of Abulafia’s interaction with Christians was the Franciscan Order.

This all happens 400 years before Sabbatai Zeti. Long before the curse of the Sabbateans, people who fancied themselves intellectuals and mystics were busily deconstructing and reconstructing religions to include these occult ideas from the Talmud. Right into Christianity they went, where they have corroded and eaten away like acid, the original integrity of Christianity.

Fast forward 800 years.

Capice?
